youngpboy:You don't have access to your account upon your arrival because you would need an address to activate the account in the bank and after 2 working days you will be able to witdraw from the counter. My advice for you is to come with enough money 500-600 to cater for your bills before you can witdraw money from your account. I wish you a successful journey to DEUTSCHLAND! |

dencotech: Bros, My candid advise for you is to use the widely acceptable google search engine for research. For the records, germany is "NOT" for the lazy soul. your reading and research culture needs to be activated from here. My 2 cents ! |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by dolpaz: 11:26pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
Ugochux: You can apply for March intake or better still april. the last time i checked, there were still some spaces left for march 21 and 28th for any intending IELTS candidate. Also, if you think you might not catch up for Msc in deutschland, you may apply for B.sc. ensure you make a strong CGPA during your first semester, you may be lucky to find yourself in ur 3rd semester according to some research. B.sc, Msc route.. alles gute as long as germany is concerned. Lots of practicals, research, internships, and above all, Some courses allows you to travel out of deutschland for your third/fourth semester.. The choice is yours. but take note, 18months after your Msc and yet you cant land a good job, you may kiss deutschland (Aufwiedersehen) Goodbye.. The decision lies with you Mein zwei loffel Gemeinsam sind wir stark !!! |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by dolpaz: 11:32pm On Feb 02, 2015 |
marcyemi: No problem my dear, in as much your friend can convince the Visa Officer what he/she has been doing for the past couple of years. Also, her course of study should relate to her first degree. But first, is she going for Msc or Bsc?? |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by damsamty16(m): 12:03am On Feb 03, 2015 |
marcyemi:No issue atall...bsc or msc age is not a barrier, like dolpaz said just tell the visa officer what you have been doing. |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Ugochux(m): 6:10am On Feb 03, 2015 |
dolpaz: Thanks a lot bro... Most schools fixd their deadline on March 18 for those applyn for Msc... , for bsc, won't d language be a barrier to makn a good cgpa in first semester? Thanks for d ielts info, imma book smtym dx week.. I studied medical physiology here in nigeria and I hv bn tryn to find a course over there in germany that is smhw reltd to my bsc course..d only one I hv found so far is 'Msc Neuroscience'- which is more of abstract research.. One has to prep his/her mind for anythn and getn work wit such msc dgree here in nigeria is limited to lecturin alone..that's just d prblm I hv nw, findn a course that wd favour me over dia incase I'm opportuned to stay bck or here in nigeria incase stayn bck in germany doesn't work out.. |

Ugochux: The major factor that should determine which choice to make is your final CGPA. So, if your GP is below 3.00/5.00, which translates to 2.5. the odds of getting a masters programme becomes rather low or even impossible except you know certain tips. Even as that, you would stand a better chance getting a Bsc. Note that Bsc itself in English are not as available as Msc. The IELTS should not hold you down as most schools deadlines are in May/June. Hello my good people of NL, Please, I just received a rejection letter from one of my favorite Msc program (uni bayreuth- msc experimental geoscience). However, part of the content of the letter stated that I have the right to appeal within one month. I really don't know how they calculate point for their aptitude test but I had 15,4 points and the pass mark was 12,5 in german scale (which I guess qualifies me for an appeal). My question is? What's the content of the appeal letter., can the appeal be written by me? Do I still have the possibility of been admitted if I act fast. N.B: google is a good avenue for sample but I need to know if anyone has been in this shoe once. Thanks |

scofield03:hehehe you were rejected by unibayreuth..... you better be happy. I would advise you to search for another school and apply. Trust me bayreuth is not a place you want to go if you would like to work and study. |

beebee5000: Really? Kindly share your little experience about the school pls. Actually, my main target is winter 2015 in other schools but Bayreuth has the best offer for Summer 2015 (in terms of course). I intend switching to a more preferred location also in the South during Winter. My major concern is, can I still be considered for admission after appealing? Thanks for you input sir |

Bethiano:b.eng in production engineering. i will be applying for production management at tuhh , computational mechanics at tum,to mention a few. last year i applied to tu cotbus for environmental and resource management and fh sudwestfalen systems engineering and engineering management. got rejects for both app. i will say i met d requirement since uni assist forwarded both app. during my 300L in school i had 7 carry overs due to some challenges i was facing then, i rewrote them and passed with good grades though it lead to my spill over and i still graduated with a cgpa of 4.2. i dont know if this is d cause of d rejection letters i got. d motivation letter was not part d requirement though i added it to my app. it was not stated if admission to d both programmes where restricted or open. |

sawhite: Yes schools in Germany accept NECO. It depend on the school you are applying to, some will waive such exams for you while others will insist you write the exam. its better you contact the school to know your stand. Use daad.de/en kindly flip back some pages my 2euros |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by adenjnr(m): 6:43pm On Feb 03, 2015 |
europe4sure: The person's chances are slim if not impossible. You need a cgpa of 3.0/5.0 Nigeria scale |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by adenjnr(m): 6:47pm On Feb 03, 2015 |
oladunwo: So long you have at least 3.0 g.p which is 2.5 German Scale you are good for Msc |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Eke40seven(m): 6:59pm On Feb 03, 2015 |
oladunwo: Chairman, It shows you hurriedly read what you quoted without proper evaluation. I stated clearly that if you have 3.00/5.00 and above you are safe. So in the Nigerian grading system, is 3.4 not above 3.00? Read carefully again. Eke40seven: |

europe4sure: Bros, to be candid with you. getting an admission for LLM is absolute Zero. However, you can re-apply for B.sc. For Masters in Law, you may be asked to tender/show proof of language proficiency. so try attending Goethe for german class and maybe up to A2/B1 level and you are good to go. Others may contribute !!! |

Williamso: Its area dependent. However, ICT is a booming field most especially Telecommunication, Hardware, software development amongst others. I spoke with a fellow here and he made me understand that there are series of ICT jobs most especially in the eastern part of germany. They have great IT and telecoms companies there. The only disadvantage of going to the east is "Racism" which may be hard to deal with. Its rampant in the eastern part, most esp Dresden, Chemnitz, Bradenburg, Cottbus, Leipzig just to name a few. However, its also very close to Poland for tour and exploring. In all, ICT companies are everywhere.. mind you, 9 countries borders Germany. so the opportunities are enormous.
