I always tell my mum and siblings that the ones that hand out bags of rice and other crumbs to make one vote for them are the exact ones I wont vote for. Makes me very leery of them. When I say it though, they laugh like I have come again with my wahala.

To me, if you're sincere, you wont have to buy my support with your recharge card. If you're sincere, you wont need to sit down with the akara woman on the street so we'll know you love the 'common masses'. Such cheap posturing! Such acts of 'kindness' just make me suspicious that you'ld steal from public funds to replace the cash you spent in getting the bags of rice...or recharge card once you come in. The logic is that there's no free lunch -recharge card- anywhere. Ask those in Freetown.
