Vice presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Architect Namadi Sambo Sunday evening said only 100,000 barrels of crude oil is stolen in the country.

Sambo is also the Vice President of the country while debunking the usually touted claims by the opposition that a total of 400000 barrels of crude is stolen daily said those making the claims are not in possession of adequate facts stating that the figures are exaggerated.

At the ongoing debate for vice presidential candidates of political parties taking part in the February 14th presidential election organised by the Nigerian Election Debate Group Sambo said though the problem of crude oil theft is there the PDP left federal government is expanding all.the frontiers for confronting the menace.

If by 'JV' you mean joint ventures, then it makes no sense here. Oil is stolen, and sold in vessels and ships within the full glare of the navy.
It may interest you that the first lady might be involved in bunkering the 100k barrels. You cannot give GEJ praise for what he hasnt done, a problem that still persists.
GEJ is paying the militants billions (equivalent to thousands of barrel), yet oil is still being stolen. Paying a small thief to allow the big thief operate.
