Please i need urgent help and contibution, please i'm applying for a sub572 and i payed for my OSHC August 20th last year,my school is resuming by feb02 so i had to differ my addmission till april and i have paid for school fees and OSHC since last year august, i went to the visa submission centre and the agent there said there was no date stated on my OSHC,all i got from the OSHC was a pdf reciept in my email which i printed along and i subimited anyway, my question now is: when does OSHC STARTS TO READ? does it start immidately after payment, or you will have to arrive first before it starts,please explain,how does it work, i need help,thanks

It follows the normal PR process:

1. Hit a 7 in all band in ielts (academic)
2. Get ur skills assessed by CPA, ICAA, IPA etc
3.If positive, express interest
4. When invited, lodge application
5. Medicals, PCC etc
6. Grant

You can do 1 for every quarter. But ensure the first payslip and your latest payslip are included.

It is better to call them directly (even if you applied through an agent). That's exactly what my homeboi did few months ago (yea, same UC). 1 week is too long for a CoE mehn.

Guy chill down,they will send it as long as everything is ok. Mine was like that but i didn't call them rather i sent mails and follow up.Finally they sent it when i least expected it.Just be Hopeful

Not all. I got my CoE less than 24hours after OSHC payment was confirmed.

He has done great thing.....The lord has done again visa 573 granted today after waiting 8weeks to clear medical, tb test and d rest. Thanks to nairalanders in d house I remain loyal with more confidence to contribute. Canberra here I come.

Please is there anyone in Towoomba? My brother has applied for his visa and we are keeping our fingers crossed. He is to leave as soon as we get the visa because the orientation date is February 26.

He is going for a 3yr course at University of Southern Queensland, how do you book a ticket with this kind of long return date (i know airlines usually restrict to one year and one-way tickets are usually expensive)?

Also, which airlines are cheap for trips to Australia?
