so i was at d salon yesterday to fix ma hair n afta washn my hair i waited patiently for d woman to ask for money for needles n she dint. (u see back then in skl...its normal for d hairdresser to ask u and al) so i asked n she was lik she uses same needles for all her customers. wat? i jus had to ask her to go get a new pack of needles for me. it dosnt even cost much...50 a pack. so curiously i jus wanno kno.....ladies do u buy new needles at d salon or jus let them use d ones they v bin using nice weekend ya'll.

The idea of using new needles is a preventive measure for contracting d much dreaded virus. Now, wat if the "hairfixer" is a carrier? She buys d new needles and smhw gets to pierce her skin and then ur scalp, how succesful was ur plan?
I use d needles in d shop. Av been lectured dat once d needle has been exposed for a period of time, it kills watever virus on it.
Finally, 50naira is affordable and one shld be able to afford it to rule out any assuptions

I always use a new needle...str8 from the pack and i dont have to pay an extra dime nor stress myself for it. They know its a norm for me already so when i tell dem to use a new needle, they dont argue.

my dear i use new needles cos i feel safer known am not sharing needles used by hundreds of odas....plus its faster to fix ones hair wit a new shiny needle....lol

I don`t use needles and I don`t go to the salon. I carry my hair natural.

So glad my girls do the same.

Rarely do weaves but yes my Mom got me a whole pack from home. Even dollar stores don't carry them here and they're $1x1 at African salons. ( I believe) . Better be safe than sorry.

News needles is a better option. Prevention they say is better than cure.
