I trust you are a Christian? Ecclesiastes 5:5 - It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it.

Buhari and osinbanjo said something and you are saying another. Are you the one running for presidency? Surely if buhari doesn't understand English well enough, Osinbanjo does and he could have clarified and explained to us that they will only create an enabling environment.

Mrs interpreter,
Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil. Matthew 5:37

APC never said they will employ 3 million ppl into the civil service, their plan is to create these jobs through massive public works jst as US did during the great depression

Oby biko.
Lets be real for once. It would have been better let the change agents explain to us this bogus manifesto through a public debate and not town hall meetings that will be majorly attended by party supporters as you rightly said.
Is it too much for employers(voters) to call the employees(aspirants) for an interview? An open one for that matter to come and sale themselves. An Oshiomole, a Fashola, a Tambuwal, a Kwamkwaso would have gladly used it as an opportunity to get some people decamp to APC after the debate.
Shame on Buhari that he has made GEJ a shining star in terms of public address.
Maybe you are right, I wanted a debate so bad too. It's a pity its not happening, and i fully accept the reasons why.

Sadly, it will still largely be based on oil revenue. Anyone who thinks that will change within the first year or two is not being realistic. Even 16 years of PDP rule hasn't changed that. However, any serious government can at least put structures in place that clearly show that the country is working towards diversifying the economy within four years.

For all those saying they will 'carry' their oil away; keep deceiving yourselves. I'll believe you when I see you on the front line spraying rounds of bullets out of your AK47. But then you don't know how to handle one do you?

In addition to my earlier post, despite being an APC and GMB fan, let's be adults here, I'm also skeptical about the 'one meal per day' programme for every child in school. Aside from the cost, as suggested by the business day, the clog in the wheel of the progress of such programme, if at all it ever takes off, is the human aspect- people will sabotage it through corruption. Take the NYSC programme for example. Do you know how much the Fed. Govt. spends on each corp member's feeding and kits during orientation. But look at the type of food we are being served, not minding that we are grown-ups and knows our right, not to talk of those kids in primary school. Don't be surprised to find all the meal for the day in a teacher's kitchen, or even in the LG chairman's house.

Agreed. But for how long? Don't forget that Yar Adua initiated the amnesty programme. What if an APC government decides to maintain it? Will the militants continue to be restive? In truth, they are the ones benefiting from amnesty, not the common Niger Deltan. If they are 'settled', will they continue to sabotage the government?
This is not all about amnesty, it has been an "established" fact that the region wants to control what belongs to them since "abokis and their concubines have decided to bomb their son out of power". Whatever the case may be now, they have decided to take the bull by the horn at make sure tha Nigeria is brought to her kneels. Just watch out...

You think crude oil theft started in Jonathan's administration? If APC takes over the central government, that's when you will see the real theft. The militants will essentially ground oil exploration activities. Nigeria is going broke, evidently unable to fund it 4.sth trillion naira budget, and someone is talking about tripling the budget. U guys are jokers.
It's a pdp problem. How many barrels did they steal under Abacha

Is oil the only mineral in Nigeria? Many countries don't even have oil.

Now I am confused why your fellow country youth are as mad hell at the presentation of what seems like a good plan. Whether intended and not 100% achievable its still a plan that could see Nigeria moving in the right direction.

One would expect opposition to critique the plan itself and not the intention. True patriots would expect would watch and pray but after all the elections competitiveness help bring the plan into fruition by giving sound advise.

1. What's wrong if half of the employment rate is reached each year instead of the full 3000 000 jobs?

2. What if only 500 000 house are built each year instead of the 1000 000 targeted?

3. Feeding 50% of the most poorest community primary school children instead of the whole country increasing yearly, is that not an achievement?

4. Etc, etc? Is it not better to have a workable plan and gradually build on it yearly. Of course there will be trial and error but each year citizens should be given opportunity to email suggestions to improve the status quo.

5. $250 billions over four years is could end up being 125 billion in the first few years. PEOPLE SHOULD CRITIQUE PRIORITIES AND THE PLAN ITSELF RATHER BEING PROPHETS OF DOOM.

I tire though for black mentality. Rome was never built in 1day and one still need a plan and a map towards any direction.

I believe the report is faulty by assuming that all these projects will be funded by government. Take the 3 million jobs per year for instance. I don't believe they will be civil service jobs. Even President GEJ has created jobs in some sectors without using the civil service. The introduction of GSM in 2001 created millions of jobs that are not government jobs. Same also applies to some infrastructural projects. Besides, you'd be surprised at the amounts we lose to wastage and corruption.

The APC has failed to explain how and where these jobs will come from so it is safe to assume they are directly from the federal government. Besides, Businessday said it would cost only 10 billion for the jobs, that isn't much for any government.

The amounts we lose to corruption wouldn't reach a quarter of a quarter to what the apc needs to fulfill their promises.

From responses from some APC apologists, some of them won't be immediate and they accuse GEJ as 'I will do' President. The simple truth is that APC thinks all the current overhead will go away. Maybe they will turn Police to 'Money making machine' like they did LASTMA in Lagos.

If you are Voting, remember;

If you support PDP, you are paid to do so and apparently a thief;

But if you support APC, you are a patriot who is fighting for Nigeria.

If an APC governor award a km of road for N1.2billion, he is prudent and God sent;

If a PDP governor award same km of road for N500million, he is a thief.

If Fani Kayode joins PDP, he is bastard;

If Atiku joins APC, he is a democrat.

If Jonathan spends N7billion for his office par year, he is a criminal;

If Fashola spend same amount in a year, he is a saint.

If Akpabio approves N200Million as pension, he must be stoned;

If Fashola approved N300million for Tinubu he is a change agent.

If you cancelled toll gate as PDP government, you are an enemy of progress;

But if you build a road in Lagos, with tax payers money and toll the road, you are genius.

If you increase school fees as PDP government, you must be crucified;

If you do same as APC government, there must be a reason, cuz Education is not cheap anywhere in the world.

If you share Okada to the poor as PDP, you are poor peoples enemy;

If you ban Okada after election as an APC government, you are only helping the poor to stay alive, so you mean well.

If you single handedly make your daughter a market woman leader in APC state, it is for the progress of the people;

But if your wife is made a permanent secretary in your state by your state government of PDP, you are a greedy fellow.

If you spend N16billion on electricity without power and then support APC, you a navigator;

If you raise N500million through unbundling of same power, you are clueless.

If you fail to pay your workers for a month, but in APC, it is not your fault but someone up there;

But if you failed to pay your worker for a month and still in PDP, you are wicked human being.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and silly.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we had subsidy scam scandal, we had national stadium contract scandal, we had health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was a big stick against perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

They are part of those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, El Rufai, etc, but are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

But the last time I checked, two wrongs don't make no rights, ok! Noone is an APC apologist. We are citizens of Nigeria who are feeling grossly short changed by a government who cares less for the welfare of it's citizen's.

How can you justify the N2bn budgeted to build a residence for the VP, while in farway Uruguay, the president still maintains a simple life, driving a volkswagen beetle and living in his own house before he became president.

How will you justify the FG budgeting N5bn to build a first ladies mission house, in a poor country like Nigeria where 70% of Nigerians are living below $1 a day?

How will you justify N150m being budgeted to renovate the VP guest lodge? Was the house burnt down? A house he barely lives in? Common!!

How will you justify the president's reaction when the chibok girls got kidnap by Boko haram?

How will you justify a government where the president has 11 jets in his fleets and budgeting N10bn as annual maintainance cost. Even an Arik air that is fully commercial doesn't spend that much on managing it's fleets yearly.

How will you justify a government that allowed our a scam immigration recruitment exercise to take place, where unemployed Nigerians where officially asked to pay money for registration. Yet noone has been brought to book. The minister of interior should have been jailed.

How will you justify the fact that the GEJ led administration has risen the debt toll from $26n to $70bn, excess crude account has dropped from $20bn to $2bn, recurrent expenditure has skyrocketed from 62% to 82%, GDP has declined from 11% to 6%? Now are we progressing or retrogressing as a nation?

How will you justify a government who pardoned ex-convicts like Bode george and Alameghysia? These people looted money that belongs to every Nigerian. Yet they are walking unhurt.

How will you justify a government that has a petroleum minister spending N10bn on private jet charter, yet Nigerians are crying and wallowing in poverty. Is her salary upto that? So why spend money above your means? Kleptomaniac's as public office holders.

How will you justify a government where the first lady was indicted in $13m money laundering scandal? Do we stay mute on it?

How will you justify a government that has spent N968bn on security, yet our lives and properties are far from being secured, while we live in fear on a constant basis.

How will you justify a government that has spent over $30bn to revamp the power sector, yet our MW has dropped from 4500MW to less than 3000MW.

How will you describe the money lost to the Sure-p scam, pension scam, and Stella Oduah BMW scam?

What about the missing NNPC money?

Can you justify the $15m scam South Africa arms deal, where hard earned cash was filled into briefcases and a chartered jet was used to transport it. Not even with military. Who were the Nigerians involved? Because the name of the Israeli was released to us.

How will you justify a president who has increased his feeling fee from N1bn to N4bn? Is it because of the dollar rise?

All we readread on the dailies has been how much money is being looted out of the treasury on a daily basis, and you expect us to stay mute on this?

Mr man, there are no APC apologist. We demand an end to this injustice by voting wisely come February 14.

Let's be practical here. In truth the free meal programme will only apply to FG schools and government schools in APC states. The FG cannot force such a programme on PDP or APGA or Labour Party states, neither will it apply to private schools. Not with our Federation style of government. So, the question is, what number of children did this report use to come up with their cost?

As for corruption; well APC and Buhari ' campaign is centered on anti corruption. We can only wait to see how they truly intend to tackle corruption.

53 trillion is VERY DOABLE. The private sector is keyed into it. Nigeria's GDP will increase 10% in the first year alone because of compulsory school meals and public works driven employment drive. Please calculate what the fast food industry boom from taking lunch and drinks to local primary schools is going to be. Work that back into demand for chicken, rice, milk, beans, lunch plates, lunch boxes etc. and what that demand will do for the agricultural sector.

I'm an ardent advocate of resource control because I believe it will force other regions to look inwards and develop their own natural resources rather than depending solely on oil revenue. However, in your honest opinion, would you say that Niger Deltans have been in control of their own oil in the last four years? Has the derivation formula changed to favour them in that period?
