But then I asked: what if he is the better option right now? Are you concerned about age or about who can lead this country better? His response? "It doesn't matter. They said we are the leaders of tomorrow. Tomorrow has come".

Someone else asked: But GEJ's performance has been terrible. How can you vote him in again? His response? "I don't care of GEJ destroys Nigeria. All I know is that I won't vote for a man that was president when I was young".

Unfortunately, many GEJ suporters are just as irate as this man is. Their support for him is based on the most shallow of reasons. There is nothing wrong with supporting a candidate. What is wrong is when you can't give a sensible reason why.

Fortunately, many more Nigerians are smarter.

My view is not based on just one man. I have not found a single person to give an intelligent reason to vote for this man, after his shambolic performance. Check out examples above.

If you scored an A in Maths and an F is every other subject, would you say you have passed? No. You would look at the overall performance.

If you hired a security guard, and (God forbid) burglers raided your compound frequently, would you keep the security guard, saying 'I know he is trying his best. At least he ensures that all the cars in the compound are washed'? No, you wouldn't - you would kick him out, because he has failed at his most important duty. Likewise, GEJ will be kicked out because he has failed at his most important duties, with excuses to back each failure. As if that is not bad enough, he has led the most corrput government.

Not a single foreign government has anything positive to say about him. Are they APC too? No, they are not. Try to be objective.

What Nigerians don't understand is that before GEJ came into power, all these structures were not in place. Can you name one thing that the OBJ's and Yar adua's regime was able to leave as a legacy? Can you? I. Am guessing none. But you see, to correct a faulty foundation, you may need to pull down a building to start all over again. You may say that everything he has done is not an achievement because they are wat the govt ought to do. Yes you are right, but did any of the past resident or head of state put up any structure on which GEJ was to build on? No is the answer. So can you see why it looks like we are feeling the crunch of the hardship. But it is not for a long while.

I knw you are a reasoning human, so I am going to ask you, the standard of living 2003 and 2014, are they the same?

And pls, GMB is not a better option. Forget what those foreign countries are saying or not saying, they can't clap their hands when they see that gradually they are losing their footing in this country. Why do you think America stop getting oil from us? It is an attempt to collapse the economy and then we shud run back to them then they wud have upper hand over us. See UAE setting restrictions because they are in bed with the USA.
Why do you think most times, China and USA don't see eye to eye? China closed their border and developed their own economy. USA was mad at that even till now, their relationship is strained. So the same thing is happening to us that is why the USA is also bent on seeing out GEJ because they are losing theit hold on Nigeria.

The odds are not in the favour of the president yet against all odds he is striving. Pls, let us allow continuity rather than change.

Half of Jonathan supporters are haters of the North. They dislike the floozy president just as much as everybody else and they are well aware of his many failings. The problem however is that they have all been brought up with an even stronger iirrational fear and hatred of the north by their parents. For this reason alone they will vote for someone who should not even have been allowed near any public office because of his sanguine - problematic temperament.

And in your foolishness you failed to know that Jonathan has millions of supporters in the north, do they still hate themselves?
