BlackTechnology:How do you know 19m PVC are yet to be produced and are mostly southerners? If the Inec chairman says he is ready to conduct elections with given reasons that PVC will be distributed b4 the date of election then we should let him. I can tell you that not everybody is going to vote if given their PVC, so we shouldn't be blinded by PDP's tactics cos they seem weak at the moment and chances of them losing out with a landslide is visible come 14 3 Likes |

Please tell the useless, most useless General Nigeria has ever produced, that we the people would protect INEC after all the stupid Generals haven't been able to defeat boko haram. Please tell them any attempt to move that election would send people to the street and they would quickly understand that Nigerian army is just a little over 100,000 and the people are more that 170million |

Mr Jonathan ain't clueless after all. He is a manipulative man filled with sinister intentions for this country. First, he fended off everybody with an intention to run against him, in his party and emerged as their consensus candidate; then DSS started acting his scripts; then the IGP; then the military authorities, when they started embarrassing GMB and now a threat that they would not provide security should the elections go on. Anyways, didn't the ruling in Sokoto declare that soldiers should not be deployed for the purpose of elections? I am actually waiting for the police and civil defence to issue their warning of non-availability should elections take place next week. 1 Like |

I'm a GEJ supporter but this is simply outrageous! Are our entire army in the north-east? Will they finally crush Boko Haram and be free within the time they want elections to be postponed to? This reeks of administrative high handedness. |

This goes to show that all the talk we heard in the past about then Nigerian military being the best force in Africa was just hot air. So they are so engrossed with Boko Haram in the north east that they cannot handle any other duties. If a hostile army chooses to strike this country now does it mean that we are all done for since the military would be unable to respond because of their engagements up north? 2 Likes |

This election has been planned for years and now its about time to carry out the plan yet a party says they're not ready. if one is ready n the other not ready, why is it so? Whose fault is it they're not ready? Deferment of the election to me is a better choice. At least after the general elections have been carried out that of the four States can b carried out later so as not to disenfranchise anybody. More so, how many soldiers will b mobilized for the fight against BH, all or some? |
