kindly come off this mirage, arent you aware of the current military offensive in the north east. i am very close to the defence and i know the effort these men and officer are giving for a sustained onslaught. if you dare sub pedal on the mission then you find yourself going back to square one. military/defence/security situation is never as easy as you sit down in the comfort of your room typing ignorance to the general public. i dare you to come out and join the JTF IN THE NORTH EAST IF YOU SO BELIEVE ITS THAT EASY....SMH espn: 2 Likes |

PDP is fighting their last battle as we all know that it is not easy to obtain a positive and successful transition. Even the wicked colonial masters had us slug it out before they capitulated power in 1960. since a dying man will clutch at a straw, we are not surprised PDP is clutching at anything within sight to resist death but you know what, DIE THEY MUST COME MAY 2015. |

Screw the military. Elections must hold! They hav been almost useless in most part anyway. Their top hierachy has been seriously compromised. The only thing they seem good at is oppressin hapless civilians and rigging elections, like they just did in Ekiti.. #WedontneedtheArmy# |

Can INEC on the other hand state the percentage of voters cards that they have given out to people? Despite all the assurances from Jega it appears they are anything but ready. Why did they fix the elections for Feb 14th in the first place if they are still racing to hand out voters cards up till now? 1 Like |

mmmustapha:Even if you give Nigerians hundreds of years. Most won't go and collect the PVC. You can't have 100 percent PVC collection rate. Highest you can get is maybe 70 to 75% rate. And INEC has acheieved almost 70 percent. Go to the numerous NIMC Offices and see the millions of National identity cards that have been available as far back as 2008 still laying uncollected. So what does that tell you? Forget all these pvc excuse, we know the ulterior motives behind such postponement. 3 Likes |

But the current allegation by the opposition that Jonathan is wielding the Army for his personal gains shows he isn't clueless after all. Which means our opposition, yourself inclusive, are contradicting themselves. 5 Likes |

naijaboiy: The security forces that have been compromised and debased. Enough number of people may not come out to vote because of fear of intimidation and accidental discharge from the military. Theis is just like, because of security breaches, military officers are the invilgilating WAEC students.....The students may not perform well as a resut of fear. Let the police do their job....this is a democracy and if the police force cannot provide security again, let the force be scrapped so that we will know that the military are doing the jobs of two forces. 1 Like |

sosanova:it's just that in Nigeria we have toomany uneducated folks. The military in a sane nation is a sacred institution devoid of political wranglings, when you drag the military into issues like this, then that's the beginning of your woes, because in time to come they will be used in a much more sinister plot than this. I don't think you as a human understand what it means to respect institutions, and that's why our politics won't grow. 2 Likes |

Please somebody should tell me the relevance of army on election day.The only thing they do best is to threat the life of nigerians on election day to manupulate for PDP.It is the responsibility of nigeria police and other security personnels like civil defence to provide security on election day. So,the army should face boko in north east and leave other security to perform their duties. We are ready for election on feb 14. 1 Like |

Is it compulsory to use military for election in Nigeria? Use of military was the Genesis of rigging in Nigeria. We have seen the outcome of the one they did in Ekiti. Afterall, election isn't war zone. police and other paramilitary should take care of that. 1 Like |
