I just paid my house rent on Monday after giving my landlady she counted and told me it was not complete that she has inflate the payment..my problem is she never told me all this while until that day i paid her..i told her she should have told me and she was suppose to issue an increment notice (just like she did last year) she said she never thought its necessary and i must pay her the balance, i told her am not paying so she asked me she will return my money and i should park out and gave me 3months. what do i do please..

Sorry....I am not expert....but do you have a copy of the rental agreement? Do you have a copy of the rent notice? Did you do business with your landlady by word of mouth...or through a rental agency/agent.

Infact...now is the time to do operation show documents.Contact the agent you got the house through. Oh....and get a good lawyer.

the truth is i have misplaced the rental agreement after 4yrs i dnt i never thought it would be useful again. the last time she hike rental fill she gave me a notice in advance and i still had months to prepare for the new fill and i didn't argue...i paid that was the payment before this one...
