INEC Chairman, Prof. Atthiru Jega announced the shift/postponement of the earlier scheduled General election, now to be held on 28th March, and 11th April, 2015.

I suggest NYSC should do the need also by releasing the 2014 Batch A Corp members unless NYSC want to tell us it is now 14Months?

honestly I must confess I'm highly disappointed in this new development, I'm of the opinion that the batch A corp member be released and given their certificate because its not everyone that has interest in participating in the election.
I've missed two job interview just because I have no discharge certificate. they should not just waste our time.

I am tired of this, we have all stayed and over stayed our welcomes in our various ppa, jega and. The DG should release us o, cos I am tired of living a confused life here!!!!

DG should hold an emergency meeting and release us this week.

Lets keep hope alive that the NYSC DG and his team member will convene an emergency meeting and see to the release of the Batch A 2014 without further delay.

This will save NYSC & INEC substancial amount and also allow the Corpers get back to their plans. As of now, INEC wil have to pay their training fee, pay 2 months extra/overtime service allawee, election fee (2), INEC wil save themselves these and other unwarranted expenses by releasing these Corpers.

Not a matter of election money in a country highly saturated with corruption. For nobody can categorically say how much INEC will pay for the incoveniences. What about NYSC readiness to pay in full the extra 2 (13th & 14th months allawee)...

If batch A is not released to go home,
1. Would nysc/inec pay them for march and April?

2. Who would provide accommodation for those batch A that their house rent have expired?

3. Will postponing the election still grant safe/violent free post election?
