They US should concern itself with cleaning up the mess it created in Syria which gave rise to the IS terrorist group rather than meddling in the affairs of Nigeria. This has clearly shown that the US knows a lot about BH and the plot to breakup Nigeria than they are telling the whole world. I guess this has put spanners in the works of their plans to precipitate the breakup of the country.

The US under Obama, has indeed become the new axis of evil and destabilization across the entire world. First they refused to sell urgently needed weapons to the Nigerian military, which would have helped us crush BH months ago, they went further to block other attempts Nigeria made to acquire weapons fom other countries. On the other hand, they were busy using CNN to rubbish the war efforts of the government, with the aim of painting GEJ as weak on the issue of security, on an election year.

Why would they not be disappointed with the postponement of the elections. They should please mind their own business, after all, they do not consult Nigeria when they want to deal ith their own internal issues. We are capable as a country in managing our issues. By the mercies and grace of the Lord God Almighty, GEJ will defeat all these evil forces, both within and outside Nigeria, and Nigeria will continue to move forward. GEJ till 2019.

The bolded makes me laugh out loud literally grin grin. We should be proud of our country but not tell ourselves bedtime stories. Of all countries in the world and indeed africa, the US sees Nigeria as a competitor shocked?? In what if I may ask? Lets improve ourselves and stop assuming others are out to undermine our success.

I mean I understand national pride and all but it's extremely self service for the OP to think they're competitors.

What the hell is wrong with the us govt. Just leave us alone and stay on your own. Must you always talk when your opinion is not needed. Let us be!

The security challenges is critical and lots of people are yet to collect their PVC. That's more that enough reasons for the shift in the election. No hidden agenda here.

Nigeria first, Nigeria always. ...Till 2019. Enough said.

It's lot different out here, lying down in Nigeria and worshiping the US as gods will perpetually enslave ur mentality. You have no idea how it goes and it will be futile trying to explain stuffs to u. So believe what you believe!

That's the way the guy who comes last believe the guy at the top is an hybrid-a semi god. If Nigeria was that insignificant, why do they bother theirselves with our affairs? Coz they care? Or coz they're big brothers? Ma'am, the US don't give a damn abt you, their interest is on what benefits them and trust me, Nigeria's influence in Africa stands in their way

They try to meddle with every decision process around the world but will fold their arms in indifference when the trouble start brewing-except, of course, it affects their supply of crude oil- just the way they left us to fight ebola on our own. But just at the smell of the virus threat on their territory ebola detecting robots suddenly emerged to combat the virus.

I always wonder at people saying BH is the creation of GEJ. If that were the case, would he not have simply ended the BH mnace under his administration?

Would that not have delivered him the presidency? Is the BH menace not one of the main reasons Nigerians want him out? Did BH not exist before GEJ was even president, or even vice president?

Your assertion does not stack up logiclly, sorry.

The video where Okupe was shouting at journalists like a woman in labour should show Nigerians how desperate this government is. They know the implication of a Buhari win . They will go to any length to stay in power but they under-estimate the resoluteness of Nigerians.

America criticises GEJ and Nigeria no matter what, and so do some Nigerians.

If something happened on that election day, of which they had prior notice, or not........would the same people not still be criticising GEJ for going ahead with elections?

Tell yourself the truth.

MARCH OVER, A NEW DISCOVERY.WILL HISTORY
REPEAT ITSELF? The moment I heard that the
General Election was postponed till march
28th,2015,I took a swift action into history and
gladly discovered that this postponement is an
Aural of Divinity.March is very significant in the
political History of the world.President
F.Kennedy of US, an opposition candidate won
Presidential election in March,1968.Former
Zimbabwe prime minister,Morgan Tsvangirai
lost an election to an opposition presidential
candidate,Robert Mugabe in the month of
march.I also glanced through ukraine history
and saw how a ruling party lost presidential
election in march 2003.March is always a good
time to march over and take control. It is the
best time for an opposition party to march over
and win election.Buhari is fully ready to march
over. Please join the marching Team today to
march out Jona.

Tshangavrai lost as the opposition, Mugabe was the incumbent. Stop twisting history to suit your agenda. That election in Zimbabwe was marred with malpractises and violence broke out. For peace to reign, Mugabe who was declared winner offered Tshangavrai, who was the opposition leader the office of Prime Minister. Please, we owe ourselves the duty to educate one another.

Re: US Condemns Postponement Of Nigeria’s Elections by elklehamite(m): 1:44pm On Feb 08, 2015
The postponement of election in our country Nigeria is purely our own internal affairs and as such US and countries of d world have no biz as far as we are sovereign nation. In fact, US have no reason to be disappointed, or better still they (US) will continue to be disappointed cuz we will continue to do things in our own way and as it suits us. US refused to sell weapons to Nigeria to prosecute war against terrorism under the pretends of human rights, they stopped patronizing in the purchase of Nigerian oil all because they see Nigeria as potential rival in African continent. They are sponsoring Boko Haram in Nigeria as a away to contain the rivalry of Nigeria against the US using their CIA & refusal of sales of weapon. US will fail in their plans to cause the dismemberment of Nigeria nation because God is on the side of Nigeria. God will continue to frustrate US and some Nigerian elements like,Oby,Ameachi & co whom out of poverty of their brains & minds, selfishness and ego, have made themselves available to be used by US forces against their own country. The postponement of the said ELECTION from February to March & April does not change the handing over date,so how does it affect our democracy? After all ,previous elections were conducted in April,so what is our stress now? Ameachi, out of his usual arrogant, pomposity, ego & immaturity had said will take to the street to protest the postponement of the election,we are waiting and watching. Security of lives & properties is not something to toy with, cuz during and after election there are bound to be crises that could lead to destruction of lives & properties, so why should any man with his right frame of mind allow election to go on or take place without security? This singular action of Jega has proofed the stuff he is made of. There are eggs and there are eggs.

What does the US care for democracy in Africa? In Africa, America cares only for her interests. Whatever nation serves best her interest is democratic enough for America thus they have held up Chad as model for which Nigeria should aspire.
