get rooney out of the midfield and we will be fine. van gaal doesn't consider rooney good enough as a striker or as a player in the hole. rooney only plays by the virtue of his captainship.

if falcao/RVP aren't firing, rooney should be replacing them so herrera or fellaini can play in the midfield. the fact that fellaini was chosen to play in the hole ahead of rooney just says it all.....
