1. If we have been so cautious about not spending excessively on contracts, where is the money going to. The so called man that the op chatted with said that the money comes directly into his account. This wont stop him from over inflating the price of the contract, He will still get his money. How did our reserves get depleted so much so soon? How did our debts rise so high?
2. What kinda contracts does he handle, cos these days, anything that does not deal with oil, the government does not really care.
3. PWC has said that $1.48 billion has to be returned by NNPC back into the federation account, under the so called "corruption free" government, according to the op. This should have led to serious actions to be taken against Dieziani.
4. 3 so called financial experts (Soludo, Lamido and even NOI) have admitted that no less than $10 billion is missing (i wont quote their specific figures, but at least $10 billion)
5. I dont blame GEJ for corruption, lets face it, its in our blood, From the leaders to the followers. I blame him for his in-activeness and unwillingness to fight it. Nigeria has been messed up before He took over and it has not gotten any better.
6. I have been a first hand witness to crude oil theft in large quantities under this administration. I still find it hard to believe Tompolo's post.

I would rather have this argument face to face over a bottles.

When did putting up profit in your contract becomes corruption or where those contract not bided for or did it not follow due process. Young man don't blame any body if you are not happy about the process then go talk to your legislator to bring up a bill on it but on till then if its within the confines of the law then I suspect no foul play. So young man go get a job and stop acting frustrated.

I will so want to argue this. And at the same beam a search light on his oponnent. The reason he is not getting money as before could be because his inflated contracts are rejected.

Your reserves(excess crude) got depeleted by your governors who does not want to save and they the same people running their mouths now.

How can you write no4 after number 3?

We all know that NNPC is corrupt. The PIB is supposed to enable the unbondling of NNPC but your APC/north controlled house refused to allow that. Where is the PIB? In the house

You saw crude theft? Did you report to anybody? if you did not report to any security agent, then you are part of the problem.
It was only IN December 2014 APC gained majorityin the House of Representatives, throughout the time PDP had majority in Senate and House of Representatives over the last few years why did'nt they ever pass PIB?

I stopped trying to convince them since I realised that one of the collected N10.5 million grant from YOUWIN project.
And this is a man that is suppose to build a business and employ more people. Yet he collected the money, marry more wives and born

Now can you simply answer this question, when the PIB was submitted to the National Assembly on 18 July 2012 why did'nt PDP who had a clear majority in the Senate and House of Representatives not pass the bill all that time they still maintained majority. Answer and don't play dumb like you normally do.

Hey man, as a pro-GEJ crusader, I dare you to answer these questions below,

How can you justify the N2bn budgeted to build a residence for the VP, while in farway Uruguay, the president still maintains a simple life, driving a volkswagen beetle and living in his own house before he became president.

How will you justify the FG budgeting N5bn to build a first ladies mission house, in a poor country like Nigeria where 70% of Nigerians are living below $1 a day?

How will you justify N150m being budgeted to renovate the VP guest lodge? Was the house burnt down? A house he barely lives in? Common!!

How will you justify the president's reaction when the chibok girls got kidnap by Boko haram?

How will you justify a government where the president has 11 jets in his fleets and budgeting N10bn as annual maintainance cost. Even an Arik air that is fully commercial doesn't spend that much on managing it's fleets yearly.

How will you justify a government that allowed our a scam immigration recruitment exercise to take place, where unemployed Nigerians where officially asked to pay money for registration. Yet noone has been brought to book. The minister of interior should have been jailed.

How will you justify the fact that the GEJ led administration has risen the debt toll from $26n to $70bn, excess crude account has dropped from $20bn to $2bn, recurrent expenditure has skyrocketed from 62% to 82%, GDP has declined from 11% to 6%? Now are we progressing or retrogressing as a nation?

How will you justify a government who pardoned ex-convicts like Bode george and Alameghysia? These people looted money that belongs to every Nigerian. Yet they are walking unhurt.

How will you justify a government that has a petroleum minister spending N10bn on private jet charter, yet Nigerians are crying and wallowing in poverty. Is her salary upto that? So why spend money above your means? Kleptomaniac's as public office holders.

How will you justify a government where the first lady was indicted in $13m money laundering scandal? Do we stay mute on it?

How will you justify a government that has spent N968bn on security, yet our lives and properties are far from being secured, while we live in fear on a constant basis.

How will you justify a government that has spent over $30bn to revamp the power sector, yet our MW has dropped from 4500MW to less than 3000MW.

How will you describe the money lost to the Sure-p scam, pension scam, and Stella Oduah BMW scam?

What about the missing NNPC money?

Can you justify the $15m scam South Africa arms deal, where hard earned cash was filled into briefcases and a chartered jet was used to transport it. Not even with military. Who were the Nigerians involved? Because the name of the Israeli was released to us.

How will you justify a president who has increased his feeling fee from N1bn to N4bn? Is it because of the dollar rise?

All we read on the dailies has been how much money is being looted out of the treasury on a daily basis, and you expect us to stay mute on this?

I am sure you saw my response? You are peddling half truths and some utter lies. Just pasting outdated questions just because you want to say something GEJ.
82% recurrent expenditure was in 2012. Though it is high, it is not up to 82%

If you want recurrent expenditure to go down, lets retrench workers like Buhari did. it could fall on you. Also tell the house to reduce their emollments.

He does not want GEJ back. His grouse with GEJ is that since he came, he is no longer making money the way he was making from contracts. He confirmed that though his money now comes straight into his account without interference, that he preferred the pre-Jonathan era when things were not as tight. That now, they check the validity of any contract before money is paid out and the guy dey fall hand for business.

Then I asked him what do you think in his performance in Agriculture(Adesina), he said he has done well
I mentioned Aganga(Trade and investment) he said very well. he said NOI has done well too and went ahead to add the minister for works mike Onolememen. He said the man has done well too. Transport, he is impressed

And I asked, why won't you vote for him since you know all these? He said, he is not feeling him in his business. He wants things to go back to easier ways.

I told him about Sam Ohuabunwa's opening statement in his article where he said that good performance means different things to different people. He was a typical example of people who want him out because his reforms have reduced undue profit.

As a business owner. ..let me tell u how GEJ has affected my business. ..

I pay more for imports. ..High exchange rate..high custom duties. .frequent shut downs at nacho..reduced profit.

At every turn the govt keeps talking about strides in the agricultural sector. .but the price of tomato, rice, onions etc hasn't reduced nor has the quantity per price increased.

Don't get me started on power and security. .

the only thing person dey gain is the availability of cheap labour. . grin

It is very unfortunate that most people here making these kinds of observation don't actually understand the problem of Nigeria.

If I may ask my friend, do you frequent the market to actually know if the price of those food commodities you mentioned have gone up or down. As at December, in Imo state, a basket of Tomatoes was 2,200 as against 4000 previously. A bag of rice was 7k, 8k as against 12k, 14k previously.

The high exchange rate is not the fault of the govt, its as a result of the fall in price of crude oil which the govt is managing as best as they could.

Let me ask you a question- Is it better you kill, jail, an alleged corrupt person yet corruption would still persist or you nib the corruption from its bud and reduce corruption to its barest minimum?

How many armed robbers have been jailed, killed, has armed robbery stopped?

It is only in GEJ's government that meaningful strides have been witnessed in the power sector. In the past 49 years what has really happened in that sector?

A prophet is not always recognised in his territory.

You may succeed in voting him out but I bet you, what's coming next, am afraid you may not be able to handle it. I wonder what song you guys would be singing then.

GOD bless NIGERIA.

Goodluck Jonathan has always failed in Governance go to Bayelsa State you won't believe he once presided over there. He has nothing to show for his term in Bayelsa that why i'm not surprised about poor performance and how corrupt he's been. Lest we forget that on September 11, 2006, Mr. Osita Nwajah, the EFCC spokesman made a public declaration that a whopping sum of $13.5 million Dollars (US) was seized from Mrs. Patience Jonathan, the wife of then Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Goodluck Jonathan.
