Padike: Padike u neva still tell me the skool you grad frm. Pertaining to accommodation, my friend in Carleton stays off-campus and she said that's a better option not necessarily because of the distance from Carleton and U of O but cos its a more mature setting and its way cheaper. I saw sm 4 as low as 400CAD per month. However, the online on-campus accommodation portal is requesting a payment of 100CAD for me to progress with the application. Also, I heard from someone and I read it from the CIC website that we require a letter of introduction from the Visa office to get issued a Study Permit in the Border. Check out the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-arriving.asp |

Guys I need your help and advice please. I want to apply to two different Canadian colleges-SAIT and OLDS. Among the requirements is the scan of high school transcripts and this is a big issue for me. My friend who has been admitted into another Canadian college(humber) said my University transcript will cover that of the high school. In essence he is saying I dont need the secondary school transcripts. Do I really need it or not? Please help. |

clusterphobia: You don't need to buy the ticket. Just make a flight reservation through any agent. Should cost you like about 10k per person depending on how well you can haggle. I will also advise you to book a hotel in Canada in the region you wanna visit, you can do that through booking.com. I did that for my parents and they were issued their visas timeously. Goodluck with yours! |

It is called statement of purpose or letter of explanation. It basically states the reasons for your choice of program and country (Canada), your educational or professional background aand how it relates to the course and what you plan to do post-study. Cheers. kciano: |

By High School Transacript they mean WAEC O L results. You buy a WAEC scratch card for online result confirmation send them the digits under the seal and the serial number or scan the scratch card after cratching and send it to them. Dont forget to send them the info below too Your full name, School name, address and Year of the exam. A scan of your WAEC cert will contain all that... They will verify and confirm and that is all. steinmajor: 1 Like |
