You are such a backward, vainglorious ethnocentric and petty fellow. You have a country that does not work and is rapidly failing, en route to becoming Afghanistan, and you are only interested in "making a point" to "born to rule tribe" ? Talk about cutting your nose to spite your face. I pity you and others like you.How I wish backward elements like you can live in an advanced nation for a month, where everything works and all the basic like electricity are adequately catered for, so you know what really matters to a progress-oriented polity unlike Nigeria where a 'suffering-and-smiling' caveman like you can still come out to make the asinine comment you did above. You are an enemy-of-progress, a vendetta-driven bigot and a saboteur anyway so I am not surprised at your myopic and childishly self-defeatist outlook.
all this invectives because someone expressed his opinion. Bully. That's what you are. you can only succeed in bullying the indomie generations with properly calculated words but you can't bully everyone into thinking like you. We cannot forget Buhari. You say Gej is transisting Nigeria into a afganistan-like nation. Agreed. Now what is General Eisenhower bringing to the table? A meal for every student per day, stabilizing the world oil price, paying a stipend of #5000 per day to the poor amidst other ridiculous promises. If this is the retrogressive change you and your ilks are propagating, I'd rather prefer an afganistan to a Zimbabwe.

Stop being silly and pretending to love Nigeria more than I do. Why did you not address the points I raised in my entire post? Just look at the level of distraction boko haram problem has brought on this Government. If not for all these security challenges Jonathan would have performed far better than he has already done even though he has not done badly. Did you watch the documentary on buhari on AIT lately? If you did you would have abandoned your zombie-like support for him by now and join reasonable people like us on this side.

We will not have buhari as president, why is that so difficult for you and your likes to understand? Let me tell you one secret, whether buhari wins the elections or not, he will not rule Nigeria again. You can take this to the bank and you can write it down somewhere. You are fighting a lost battle Gbawe.

Why not respect your elders? Even Olu Falae whom you all gave block votes in 1999 has endorsed Jonathan alongside Afenifere and the OPC. Buhari might end up being sworn in as president of arewastan on 29th May and if you find that too difficult to swallow, you might as well relocate to sambisa with your type. tongue

Personally, I don't care if Nigeria explodes. I don't care if Boko Haram kills every single man, woman and child. I don't care if the Naira becomes as worthless as toilet paper. I don't care if corrupt politicians steal every kobo of our money and leave billions of dollars in debt for our children to pay. I don't care if there's no light. I don't care how much unemployment, poverty and suffering there is.

As long as the next president is from my village or somewhere nearby, Nigeria can go to blazes. That is the only thing that matters. The president must be from my village. Those northerners think they are born to rule. Let them know that it is only my village that is born to rule.

All those people that are suffering and dying in the northeast because of government callousness and incompetence can go to hell! The president must be from my village!

Nigeria will get better-so we pray. My point is that buhari is not the saviour we need. embarassed

And this is exactly what is working for you and your clueless govt, you're either playing the religious sentiment card or the ethnic sentiment card. Actually, you guys have nothing tangible to say or offer anymore other weeping up childish and irrelevant sentiments here and there.

What issue did u raise ?? That power must go round even to undeserving and incompetent people just for the fun of It ....u didn't speak like a Nigerian, u spoke like an ethnic warlord. PDP has ruled for 16 years and Jonathan has managed close to 6years of that 16 and this country has nothing to show for it. I don't know how u intend to stop the mass movement for buhari, the same set of people that voted ur ebele jonaTAN in 2011. As far as I am concerned I need good governance, I don't care which region, or the ethnic background of the ruler just a good and transparent government will do for me. I don't see that achievable under the present rogue/touts and thieves that's occupying aso-rock @ d moment. "Gov Mimiko's brother Prof Mimiko the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba in Ondo State has been penciled down by the presidency to take over from Prof Jega if he is frustrated out of office as inec boss. Professor Mimiko is ready to play ball in favour of PDP whichever way the election may go. Nigerians, be vigilant you are duly informed and warned accordingly"!

Shut ur mouth. Now that it has come to the Ijaw man you suddenly don't care where the president comes from and want good governance. This double standard in Nigeria is why we are where we are today. How did OBJ perform when he was president yet everybody allowed him rule for two terms. The man even wanted to go for a third term but failed.

Farouk Lawan was caught collecting 620, 000 dollars but he is still in the House because he is hausa while Stella Odua was forced out because she is Igbo.

Injustice is what can make even a wise man to start behaving like a fool if you don't know.

All the previous recruitments into the army in this country always tilted heavily in favour of the hausa/fulani. When Ihejirika, an Igbo COAS noticed this and decided to balance the army, every body started shouting Igbonisation. Where were all those people shouting when the hausa/fulani were filling up the army with their brothers? It is a one set of rules when the person involved in hausa/fulani and another when the person is Igbo/SS. Keep deceiving yourself.

Buhari toppled Shagari's government, placed his fulani brother Shagari on house arrest and threw Ekwueme the Igbo VP into prison. Judge foryelf Mr good governance... Mtschewww.

Obasanjo stepped down for a democratic government. Buhari militarily overthrew a democratic government.

One is an act of integrity, the other is a desperate thirst for power by any means necessary.

One can argue that electing Obasanjo was going "backwards," but he was neither a coup plotter nor an absolute dictator.

Many pepole did not support OBJ. OBJ's accession is a testament to the laziness of Nigerians in political matters.

Farouk Lawan was caught collecting 620, 000 dollars but he is still in the House because he is hausa while Stella Odua was forced out because she is Igbo.

And Stella is now about to become a Senator. Ponder that!

Either way Nigerians love their corrupt leaders.

Injustice is what can make even a wise man to start behaving like a fool if you don't know.

Nice proverb...

Actually Army recruitment favour the Middle Belt....more than even the Fulanis. And there is federal character well well....plus a Hausa sounding name does not mean it is Hausa.

Buhari toppled Shagari's government, placed his fulani brother Shagari on house arrest and threw Ekwueme the Igbo VP into prison. Judge foryelf Mr good governance... Mtschewww.

Buhari also threw in a lot of Northerners into jail...including the Governor of Kano State, and one other Northern governor(and some high ranking Northern Ministers).....as well as several Middle Belt and Igbo and Yoruba governors....and even attempted to bring Dikko to justice. In total he jailed 500 people from a wide spectra of society....and a wide spectra of tribes..(Which is part of the reason why he lost in 2003, and 2007 and even 2011....many of the Northern elite cannot forgive him.....and even now smile false smiles at him). He also freed one politican....a Southerner.

You are free to vote for GEJ. But if Buhari wins..1)you can vote him out in 2019 if he does not perform....and you can do that by hard work...not by complaining....one reason why Northerners come on top is that they can build bridges....a trick OBJ learned from them and 2) So GEJ has lost? What are your lazy Governors, Senators, Reps and LG chairmen doing? Get them to work for you!

And you are a weakling consumed with cowering and pitying himself. I don't have time for bigots and prejudiced folks. That is how it is worldwide. If that makes me a "bully" then the Earth is home to billions of "bullies". Peddling the prejudiced notion, in this day and age, that someone should be rejected for a job or position because of his race, ethnic origin or religion is downright repellent. As simple as that. Someone doing such is not "expressing his opinion" . They are peddling intolerance and prejudice that is openly denounced and rejected in modern and progressive society.

Never forget that the world is a much better, less racist and less discriminatory place because of those who condemned prejudice vehemently. Let the fans of GEJ vote for GEJ and convince others to do so based on his leadership and that alone. Telling us Buhari must not lead because he is a "born to rule" Muslim from Northern Nigeria is nauseating prejudice any sane and upright person should condemn - especially in the face of the monumental misrule of GEJ that is leading Nigeria towards total failure.

The main reason why I will vote for GEJ is to make a statement. 2015 is about making a point in this country and we must drive that point home even if the gates of hell are opened. The message we must drive into some thick skulls is that Nigeria belongs to all of us. No tribe is born-to-rule while others are born to siddon dey look.

There must be fairness, equity and justice in this country. Power MUST go round if we are truly one Nigeria. Why must a particular group of people continue to terrorize the rest of the nation when they are not in power?

When OBJ, a southerner was in power, they declared Sharia law and caused a series of very violent riots in the north which led to the death of many Southerners and northern Christians.

As soon as Jonathan, another Southerner took over government, boko haram which was previously a rag tag group suddenly transforms into a mighty fighting force, blasting churches to pieces, killing innocent Nigerians and recently seizing towns and abducting our women.

The question is why is it that we cannot have peace when the people from Futa Jalon are not in power?

Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again. let me say this loud and clear, the best for Buhari is that he will end up as president of arewastan and maybe Odua republic but Buhari will NEVER rule Nigeria again.

See the people down there that believe Aso Rock is their property, they believe they were born to rule in Nigeria. Whenever they are not in power, they make sure nobody can sleep. See them there. embarassed embarassed embarassed :

I completely agree with you!
If APC meant well for the unity of this country, they should have made a southerner presidential aspirant eg( Fashola, Oshomele, Rochas even Amaechi etc. But no they believe that they should always rule. We keep saying one nigeria, but deep down in the hearts of our leaders they dont feel so. Everything is tribal! that is just the truth we dont want to tell ourselves.
