So why didn't you follow your passion? You also read that piece about audit being the best place to choose abi. I just hope you can defend your choice of audit during your interview. In any case they can ask to change to IT advisory. Maybe you should pray for that.

Really? Haven't heard anything. Maybe they have pressing vacancies in Tax. In any case different depts schedule their ACs differently. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. Which dept was ur first choice?

He explained more on the info on the old thread. The AC = 70 critical reasoning questions, panel interview, and group work and presentation. Questions like: let us meet you; why kpmg; why audit; why do you want to make the switch from "what you studied" to audit; strengths & weaknesses, etc, will come up at the P.I. stage...

Yea bro it was quite good. 50 questions in one hour. That is 1 questions in each of the following aspects: quantitave, verbal, current affairs, critical reasoning and a last ting i forget. Additionaly there was a 30 min essay on a simple topic. I expected a CAT but it was on paper. I applied for d position of customer care agent. I will be grateful if some one can provide me with info abt d salary. Thanks

Hi Guys, its me again.

Well, for those that have been invited for the tax test... it will probably be same thing as the other tests. About 50 questions, verbal (antonyms, synonyms & fill in the gap), quantitative and abit of current affairs... not so difficult I guess, so you should be fine. If you can practice GMATs well, it should go smoothly.. All the best!!

A friend of mine was invited for the Audit AC, so it means they have kicked off Assessment centres as well. Advisory (as usual) is always last to start anything... if you chose advisory , well get ready for a long wait and hopefully you have foreign degrees and excellent O'level results cos they favour those and sieve out the rest.
