If parents can pay above =N=350,000.00 as tuition fee for their wards to attend a good school, Private university at that. I must say it's a pitiful site seeing this Ajebo dem putting bucket on their heads to fetch water just because the school cant provide normal and basic amenities for the students.
Check out pictures of Redeemers University students fetching water in the school, the school cafeteria and moreso they will be starting their exams in two weeks time and they don't even have tables to write on. They are being told to write their exams on their laps.

There is no need to relocate students to the permanent site when all necessary facilities are not ready for the student.

They had to relocate because NUC was on the verge of revoking there license for running from a TEMPORARY site for more than 5 years.

Just keep quiet.

What concerns a private Christian university's inability to provide water and PDP?

What's the connection?

So the scam is everywhere even in private universities..

Only God can help Nigeria situation

Scam...what scam?

In the UK....if you attend a university....it is the job of the host city to ensure water and light is functioning at your university. Not the University.

In Nigeria....our govt goes to sleep and forces investors to waste millions providing their own power and water supply.

At one point Cadbury Nigeria was spending N20million every day running generator.

They would have spent far less if power was working.

That is why you Nigerians have to make your govt work for you....seriously!

If your PDP govt had got the power supply working...and if your PDP govt had made clean water a priority....then schools like Reddemer uni won't be bothering about spending kudi on providing power and water to their school premises.

Or who provides water and power to universities in foreign countries? Is it the school...or the Govt.?

You lazy Nigerians better make your govt work for you. Note that I did not say vote APC.

If government could come out with standards before any private university ise given license to operate, the better. How could a private university without solid water system, power system, good learning environment et al be given license to operate

Simple....because we are in Nigeria!!!

Things have always been in a state of dilapidation for long bro. All these things make us move out of the country.

It's not only a PDP thing, it's the system.

Is the state government not APC?

Can't they provide water through water board?

Re: Redeemers University Students Fetching Water by mployer(m): 2:38pm On Feb 10, 2015
It doesn't mean they fetch water like that everyday.

Btw, 350k isn't too much a fee for private uni, A lot of secondary schools pay more than that.
Re: Redeemers University Students Fetching Water by Orikinla(m): 2:40pm On Feb 10, 2015
[size=28pt]Are they too lazy or re-tarded to sink boreholes for regular water supply and even start a water supply company that will create jobs for the campus community and environs?

Solar Water Pumps - Submersible Borehole & Well Pumping .

Solar Water Pumps
Solar pumping systems allow vital water resources to be accessed in remote rural locations. Solar water pumps require no fuel and minimal maintenance.

Solar powered submersible pumps are used for wells, boreholes, water transfer, cattle & livestock watering and irrigation. Recently the price of solar pv modules has fallen dramatically around the world, making solar powered pumping systems increasingly affordable.

There is also a natural relationship between the availability of solar power and the need for water. Solar pumps provide maximum water flow when it's needed most.

Most solar water pumping applications don't use batteries, the water is simply pumped when there is enough daylight. The water is often pumped into a large raised storage tank, enabling access to water whenever needed.
