I need to ask this question since you had the similar case in the past.

What kind of supporting doc you put with your first and second application before got refused?
*** Did you write any statement to explain the whole story along with those applications? ***
How long did you waited before putting second application in, while your first application was refused?

Although, I remembered you said you had to wait for like 2yrs after all those are came unsuccessful, before submitted the third application and was granted at the end.

I've never seen them schedule a court date that takes place before the 19 week deadline but that's because they usually wait so long to book them in after their initial review. Basically the 19 week date is the deadline, they can actually do their review anytime from when they receive your appeal. It looks like they've reviewed your case early, made a decision to maintain their refusal and then booked the court date. Which at-least means you won't have to wait too long to present your case.

In your determination letter it should give you the reasons why they've maintained your refusal. What you then need to do is start gathering evidence to address these points to then present to the judge. Has your lawyer been in touch with you about how you will be defended in court?

In regards to the 2nd job evidence, could your spouse get a letter from their employer, on headed paper, stating that over the 6 month period stipulated in your application that £80 per week was paid as wages. My only concern here is that if they did not receive payslips that issues may be raised with the paying of taxes etc.

Usually they will only book a court date if the decision has been made to maintain the refusal. Have you contacted the Leicester tribunal office to see if they've received an update from the Sheffield office?

i thought when they didnt mention any thing regarding review decision because i saw ppl updates abt their letter mentioning the review outcome too in appeal hearing letter. so i was just feeling happy

When you get to the tribunal centre early you will see your name and time of your hearing placed on the door of your courtroom, but they don't usually follow that order as you may be called earlier than stated because some may cancel their court date or come late, so that means if you are there they will call you to come in for your case.

I submitted the same supporting documents I had always sent with my application like marriage certificate, pictures taken before and during courtship, wedding pictures, birthday cards given to each other, utility bills, educational certificates, employment documentations for both of us, bb, Whatsapp and email chat history and the list goes on...

With each of the application, we had supporting statements submitted but they were drafted by the solicitors. The last application had supporting statement as well but I wrote that myself giving a storytelling like report. I explained everything that happened in my own words.

The intervals between the applications were due to the number of months each application and appeals took and availability of funds. The 2year wait was our own personal decision, it had nothing to do with the embassy. We could have applied during those 2years but we didn't due to the amount of money spent already.

Updating the house as promised on my journey. I submitted my online application on the 3rd of December, and booked my interview at teleperformance, Churchgate2 at Victoria Island for the 10th of December. I got there in good time(with almost half an hour to spare) and was ushered into the ground floor lobby for initial documents checks. Straightaway problem number one was discovered which was the "FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT FORM APPENDIX 2". I was told I had to go and get it since the appointment could not hold without it. I quickly dashed out to about 2 streets away to an internet cafe where I printed 18 pages of the form at 50 naira a page and 150 naira for internet time. I then went back to Churchgate2, and found a shade where I sat on a tree stump and used a chair handed over to me by a kind orange seller as a makeshift desk(my wife would have cracked up silly if she saw me). I promptly filled up the form, and went straight back to teleperformance where I was finally asked to go to the first floor where teleperformance was. At the first floor, I was asked for my appointment letter(sent to your registered email address after online payment) which I provided, and was allowed in through the first set of security doors. Got into the first lobby and was ushered through the metal detector and asked to go to the receptionist to confirm my details. The receptionist took my application form, asked me a question from my printed out application formm(something about what my preferred address was) which I answered and then I was told...YOU HAVE AN INTERVIEW TODAY! Interesting since I wasn't expecting one but I had no issues with an Interview since everything was as it should be. Was ushered In through, yet again, another set of security doors which led me to the waiting lobby. I saw my name under "WAITING" so I sat tight. There are 6 booths and I was ushered into one of them. The gentleman was polite but asking some obvious profiling questions which struck me like he had received instructions. Oh well, I answered truthfully anyway! The documents collected from me at the VAC were
1. A copy of the online application form
2. My international passport
3. Sponsorship declation form from my wife
4. Financial requirements t form appendix 2
5. Photocopy of my international passport(whuch was returned back to me stapled to the document received acknowledgement form)

I had to post my other documents( which I thought was required) back to my wife in the UK I.e TB TEST, MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, ENGLISH TEST.
To cut the long story short, I did my biometric, had an interview which lasted about 10 minutes and was ushered out. So the waiting game begins and as promised Lexusgs430, I will provide updates to help future applicants know what is expected of them, and what to expect. God bless!

Many thanks @justwise. I will let the house know how this one pans lit(fingers crossed it's positive) . My wife is 4 months pregnant and any decision other than a positive one will upset my life's balance.

Hi,
Glad to join this forum.

1) i applied for the spouse settlement Tier 2 visa on the 3rd of November 2014
2) collected my passport on the 17th of November and was refused visa, reason was i did not show enough proof that my husband and i had known each other prior to our wedding despite the pictures and marriage certificates
3) i appealed against the decision on the 20th of November and sent them a 120 page folder of emails, text messages, plane tickets, visas and photos of all the vacations we had taken together ,i also included introduction pictures, registry, trad and white wedding pictures alongside all the pages of my passport and his showing stamps
4) the decision was overturned on the 13th of January and i was even in the Uk then on my visiting visa
5) i have now returned and sent the passport on the 2nd of February, and Dhl has sent the tracking and it has been received on the 4th of Feb

Now to my question, how can i get across to them to ask what the status on my passport is , because reading some testimonials here shows that it takes about a week to process and then they can be delay here from the Teleperformance guys.
Can anybody advise the email address to ask the status of my passport as i have my final stage Job interview in 10 days and i have been asked to confirm my attendance

I believe all that you would need is the degree certificate and possibly a letter from the university stating that the lessons were tought and assessed in English. It might actually be worth taking the English Test as well, it can't hurt to be over qualified.

Your spouse can summit the required documents from uk! They do allow it now

He has started collecting some of the documents.
My next concern is my husband's account balance. His annual income is about £24000, so he meets up with the minimum income threshold but his account balance each month is always low. He has so many responsibilities from family and bills, that there is hardly any savings. I don't know if this will affect the application.

Account balance can be low, so long has he is not spending his overdraft and into negative balance(reason been, if he is in negative prior to your supposed arrival, what would his balance be before you secure a job).
NB: Constant use of the account for daily or monthly expenses, proves he is resident and active.
