Let GEJ subvert the electoral process

Go ask ojukwu how it ended up for him

Olodo you are still living in 1967 ,wake up dude. You are no longer in power or in control of the military. Whether you like it or not GEJ will win and rule till 2019 .
That is how you threatened your cocoa and groundnut revolution if elections were shifted and four days after we are still waiting for it

Did the national assembly not reject a proposal to use electronic voting machines?
Why did Jiga unilaterally decide to use electronic voting machines without getting clearance from stake-holders?
Did he get the Legislature's approval to change the voting mechanism?

The man is a real mess.

Pdp can never win an election in a free and fair atmosphere. The card reader does fit in to their rigging plan. I thought Jonathan and pdp were boasting that one of the achievement of this clueless administration is free and fair election so what do they have against the card reader?

the umpire has to carry everybody along.
How can the parties train their polling booth agents to know if the"card reader" is working properly?
This technology means you cannot rely on your previous party agents who may be digitally challenged.
Jiga should have carried all stakeholders along with his plans.
Elections are meant to be transparent like Option A4!
Jiga can use a speadsheet in his card reader to dabaru the whole election.
If he is tired, he should go home.

GEJ gave Jega free hand to operate and he decided to abuse that privilege by even using it against him to the extent of attempting to disenfranchise his key support base. Now GEJ has decided to use the full weight of his office. By the time this elections are over both Jega and apc would understand what is meant by the phrase "power of incumbency". Jega would understand he is a mere figure head without control of events on ground

Do you think its only 1 card reader that will be available??

If a card reader doesn't work, then simply use another.......A card reading maching shouldn't be such a big deal to operate.

And you're already calling people "educated illiterates", better check yourself first.

I feel for this nation, I really do. We deserve someone better than the shoeless jerk.

The level GEJ is pushing us to will have very drastic effect on the wellness of the nation. The annoying thing about it all is the south east who was the biggest victim of the first civil are blindly supporting GEJ to ruin this nation just because they have refused to let go.

When casala go burst, we will all suffer it and with the way things are going, another civil war is very likely.

'source who spoke on the condition of anonimity..'

News bearing such information are not worth anything. Seriously.
If a person is against a movement but cannot come out to refute it openly, then he/she is a saboteur and driven by greed. Either that or the news source is 'guessing' and misleading the public with lies.
Re: Presidency, PDP Reject Card Reader For Election by omenka(m): 7:01am On Feb 11, 2015
If these guys have their way, the only hope for a credible election is lost forever if what my friends that have been participating in the INEC ad-hoc staff training exercise haave been saying about the card reader is true. They sound like it is virtually impossible to rig with the card reader technology!!

PDP is totally shameless.

INEC does not need to tell you their plan B. Allow them conduct the election, i believe INEC has plan B with they want to keep secret so that some people dont start planning on how to foil it.

PDP PAID 10K TO BUY PVC FROM POOR GULLIBLE NIGERIANS THROUGH OUT THE NORTH, WHY WILL THEY WANT CARD READERS.? NOTE THAT THEY STARTED GETTING JITTERY WHEN JEGA ANNOUNCED THAT BUYING PVC IS USELESS BECAUSE CARD READERS WILL VERIFY AND PREVENT FAKE USERS OF THE CARD.

Mumu!

And who Says anything bout the army

As I said, and go ask around, if a northerner wil do something good or bad, he just does!

No talk..talk... No noise... He just does it with 100% conviction

Wen riots broke out after the coupist pigs killed the leaders of the North, it started in an instant, both by civilians and within the army.

Besides,... Nobody threatened Anarchy due to postponement, in fact APC and General Buhari called out for his people, supporters and party members throughout the nation to remain calm, exercise patience amidst provocation by Jonathan and PDP.

If u think otherwise, let Jonathan cancel the polls, get a ruse judgment disqualifying Buhari from contesting or let anything sinister happen to him

I won't comment in-reply again till one of those events take place.

Peace is wat we all want but if you people and ur leader Jonathan don't want it then ....ok!

This were exactly my thought jega could deploy faulty pvc reader down east and provide pvc reader that accept anything down north even your drivers licence, most igbo are being disenfranchised let all this technology be tested in the governorship election let see how it works b4 deploying it at least by 2023 I don't thrust this northerners period. INEC should allow people with temporary voters card to vote period because from the look of things they are not ready my sister and mum has gone to the local govt countless time to get there pvc yet the get same response, that's it's not yet ready and we are from the southern part, this election would be a monumental fraud if jega disenfranchise willing voter for no just cause. Let suspend this pvc bulls hit for now I don't trust anything about it.

Illiterate, INEC chairman name is Prof Jega not Jiga. Where in the world does any country practice option A4 for its national elections? You don't even know anything about the election procedures but you just spewing rubbish on this forum. The pvc is used for accreditation to verify that an voter is the authentic voter. You don't use the pvc to vote because ballot papers will be used just like previous elections.

Very good development. What is the essence of a card reader that will certify a Jega registered 4 year voter from miaduguri?? Isn't it sinister that Jega is more worried about unregistered voters voting down south while turning a blind eye when infants were being registered up north?? Under-aged voting is as dangerous to the outcome of any election as double voting or direct result inflation! So why is underaged voting, a northern pastime, geting no serious mention in Jegas jaga-jaga war against rigging?

Same people that want to fight corruption with technology are afraid of technology.
