arsetalks: There'll be no civil war in this country no matter what. The ruling cabal have so much to lose. They'll reach a compromise. A war in this century if allowed unchecked will not last for 3 years like the Biafran war, it will last much longer. We're just here wasting our time. I don't bother myself again with what is happening now. The cabal will sit down and choose for us who will win the Presidential election. |

owobokiri:What a hate campaign! In my very eyes, I saw 14, 13yrs old lads collecting PVCs in Ondo state, Okeagbe-Akoko precisely. Party chieftains were scouting for preteens frm secondary schools to go for registration. They didnt tel me, I was there. Corps members couldn't resist them cos there is no technology dt determines age at sight. Just because u hate some tribes, u are spewing these abt an obvious, entrenched practice everywia in Nigeria. 2 Likes |

udemzyudex: They fixed it for February so that court cases arising from the elections could be dispensed with before may 29th. In any case, the dates were fixed over a year ago, why didn't anybody fault it then? Anyway we've passed this stage as the elections have been postponed to the relief of PDP |

Let tell our self the truth with the situation of things on the ground inec has failed and there wont be any credible election with that permanent voters card...number one reason are inec supposed to have distributed this a year or 2 ago so they will have time to correct bugs and problems from the printerers coders and the algorithm errors from the programmer 2nd inec suppose to have tested all their hardware components by now to check how flexible so to give reports to the manufacturers even as it stands now inec has no network of their own and will solely depen on all this our network providers for the Internet which if network issue occur then one person may take 40 minutes to be attend to on which will require more days for voting....we are not ripe for this |
Re: Presidency, PDP Reject Card Reader For Election by Bigchief46(m): 7:34am On Feb 11, 2015 |
The main complaint against the Electronic Voters Card Readers is that it's use is expressly prohibited by Section 52 (1) (b) of the Electoral Act; its use will invalidate the election and create more crises. It is INEC who have been deliberately taking steps to create confusion. People can rant and rave all they want on Nairaland but legal issues will be decided by Courts based on law & it's technicalities and not on sentiments. For instance your GMB is as good as gone; the Court will disqualify him as he refused to do the needful. (Understand me well: he REFUSED to do the needful). Since he stubbornly refused to apply to Cambridge or WAEC or wherever for a copy of his certificate and tender it to INEC as REQUIRED BY LAW, his born-to-rule ARROGANCE will be his undoing. All the Court needs to decide is that no one is above the law. Simple as that |

ba7man:Looks like that word really pain you. You just have to take it that way bro. How are you sure that there will be more than 1 card reader machine in one polling unit? Did INEC tell you that? I really want to know. Those trying to collect their PVC have not been able to collect theirs cos INEC has refuse to give enough staff to carry out the operation, how can one person be giving out cards to more than 500 people in a ward, not even their polling unit and they know how some Nigerians like you behave. If they can allow such, now tell why they would give out more than 1 card reader machine to a polling unit? You think say i get tribal mark for face abi? |

March4Buhari/Osinbajo 2015 Just a little over a year ago. Chei! Femi Fani-Kayode 12 December 2013 at 02:42 · "OBJ has finally closed GEJ's chapter with his letter. Jonathan is finished- mark my words. Abati should shut up and let his boss speak for himself on this one. The Ebora Owu has spoken and the issues that he has raised are too serious to be ignored or to be responded to with amatuerish and cheeky insults and slurs from a mere staff of the Presidency. The President should find the courage to personally answer the charges and address the message rather than get his aides to attack the messanger. As Baba said, Jonathan is "bleeding Nigeria to death". It is time for change. God used Obasanjo to put Jonathan in power and, by His grace, He will use that same Obasanjo to remove him." - FFK # M4BO2015 |

That the PDP is rejecting the card reader alias 'the game changer' is but laughable and the reason is not far fetch; they cant rig the election beyond this device. As a serving corp member, mandated to participate in the forth coming election, our training on how to use this machine et al just ended the other day, we have been trained! i repeat, we have been trained!! And we PRACTICALISED everything we are going to be doing on that D-day. The machine works fine and fast. And in Any case where the device fails, we have been told what to do. PDP is just scared of loosing, i hope this won't cause us bigger problems in this country. As for Change? its already here, we just waiting for its manifestation. #GeneralMarch4Buhari 2 Likes 1 Share |
