Hello, not to make you feel bad..think your application is coming back to you through snail mail. Please start EE while you wait for their response. babalokoso: |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by tola73(m): 9:07am On Feb 10, 2015 |
Adesiji77:Sorry for the late response. It must have been an oversight. Get your ECA report first and I hope you also have your IELTS result ready. Once you have that create your profile on EE and register for the job bank. Just hope that your ECA result is out before Manitoba PNP begins. You also need to continuously check their website to know when it will be open. I hope this answer your question. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by tola73(m): 9:14am On Feb 10, 2015 |
babalokoso:I hope that NOC is not capped as at when your application was delivered. If it is not cap I will advise you to start EE now, because I'm worried if your account is not charged by now. I also hope your application is error free. One of my nephew application in same NOC was returned last week because of incomplete package she did not include her employment letter. |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by skidmarkz: 10:15am On Feb 10, 2015 |
tola73: Hi bro, just checking if the package was returned back to her address, had her credit card been deducted earlier? |

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/vasco-castela-loses-job-may-have-to-leave-canada-over-immigration-mix-up-1.2948860 For some of us who have been worried about our NOC being capped, i just came across this online. Could this be responsible for the non-charging of some NOCs? |

bissiejoe: Even if they will accept from other countries, not Naija, at least not now. You may however get someone who can help give it to you so you send it by yourself while it looks like it's coming from the school. This is so cuz if you wait for school, it might take longer time. Also note that there's a form you will print from WES website which you will give to your school and they will include it with the transcript |

tola73: Hi, When my application was received on October 20, 2014, the cap was not filled up then because the application they had approved then was less than 500. I worked for Deloitte and I included my letter of employment and reference. My credential was accessed by ICAS and my IELTS result was good. As a house member suggested I will keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Thanks |

scrollmeout: This information is very useful, it could be some NOC has been capped and we are not aware of it. The EE is very difficult and almost impossible to get. Anyways am just optimistic something positive will turn up soon |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by JesusDWay(m): 1:01pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
bissiejoe: It's simple, just Google NOC Codes for year 2011. Check through the list for your job specification, it will show you the corresponding NOC code. Meanwhile, your certificate doesn't really matter |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Adesiji77: 1:38pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
tola73: Thanks for your kind response. I already have my IELTS result, praying for the ECA result to come out quickly. A question remains unanswered: What is involved in getting a provincial nomination? Is it something that i can get quickly as against the 2 to 3 years mentioned by a source? |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by tola73(m): 4:32pm On Feb 10, 2015 |
Adesiji77:Getting provisional nomination depends largely on whether your profession is in dare need in that area, secondly it can be less that 18months with the new EE |
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by tola73(m): 4:40pm On Feb 10, 2015 |

@tola73 and gurus in the house, is employment letter mandatory or optional in the fsw application? Cos I was surprised when tola73 stated it has a reason for cic rejecting his nephew's application. Please shed more light on this cos I thought it was optional |

Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by zeelo2014: 11:14am On Feb 11, 2015 |
labiz001: 1. Not sure about this. But at the MR stage u might or not be asked for a POF. 2. It increased but it affects the Express Entry candidates only. 3. AVO seems to have woken from their slumber and they're currently sending the last batch of May applicants and early June their MR.
