my tv developed a fault. 4 out of my tv 5av ports have gone blurry and wavy except for the ''component port'' but when I used only one av wire to connect green av (as circled in the pic) I get only black and white picture. is it compulsory I must plug all 3colors of the components accordingly to the tv set too before I can get color?



and lastly any opinions would be appreciated concerning what could have gone wrong with my tv set that made all 4 av ports go bad and what I can do to rectify it



PS: I bought a new av cord or is there a special component cord?

Don't bother they are not staying. They just wanted to inform veiwers they have moved to yamal and dropped their TP's. Latest tomorrow or next I think they will be offline again...

Thx I've been able 2 rectify d problem. D lnb cover has removed and cobweb is packed in it dereby bloking off d signal. Just clearin off of d web and multi tv is back on my screen. Thx

the color is back but now the tv brightnest is dark even when the brightness settings is at its maximum...
This bothers me cos gradually my customers are complaining cos its so faint one can hardly view it well at daylight. Its a 32" bigback toshiba tv set.

....the problem is not from the generator or the power supply from the generator!but the sound wave!your dish picked up sound or noise from the generator then throws it to the lnb! the noise now interfered with the satellite signal!

happened to me once..in my own case the c band lnb was mounted about 15 to 20cm away from the center of the dish..the lnb picked up noises from moving vehicles..noise from airplanes! etc rain disturbance on c band lol!.on a multi lnb ..I can't recall if it was actually strong or supermax lnb..though it stopped when I moved the lnb close to the center of the dish!

never experienced sound interference since then ..I am currently using old supermax 777 c band lnb..

you may like to try other lnbs if it may actually help!

You can take a look at the base of my own 4M dish. The tripod should be something like this or even better.

And of course here is the dish. Two years on and still counting.
No shaking at all.

thank u sir.i uprrooted d pole today.i brought d dish down.i will be painting d dish by friday.pls wat type of pain.i know it color is grey.but is it oil paint.this time around.i used concrete cement to solidify d pole.i will get the d ordinary fuji lnb.this time around i plumb the pole to make sure is 90°.so by saturday i will go back to track.i need to wait for 2 to 3 for d concrete to solidify.i hope im doing thing.hope to hear from u.sir

You can use meyer paint. Buy white and black and mix them in equal proportions.
You will get a thick and solid grey colour. That is the trick my brother.

I got the DigiSat quad lnb today,I checked the forum and compared with the one posted by odilibe sometime ago,and there seem to be some significant difference

Aluminium paint is good..it may actually add few increase to the signal quality..but make sure the lnb housing is not painted black ...so that it won't absorb the little heat reflected!

@faithchild. This is the colour I adopted for my fabricated dishes.Stick to Meyer paint as George D suggested.

16e is becoming useless the famous tp 10804h30000 is unstable I will miss boom tv if they leave this position.
