If only you can read from part 5 or 6 ; 90% of answers you seek are there. You will be done within a week and from there you can ask for some more specific question and know how to package your application. ohammed199: |

First things first, I undergoing my final year philosophical studies as an undergraduate here in Nigeria. However, I have applied for another undergraduate studies in Art in University of Regina... Program name: German. Now in the conditional offer it stated that: Congratulations! The International Recruitment and Admissions Office is pleased to inform you that you have gained conditional admission to the University of Regina and will be finally accepted into Bachelor of Arts pending submission of final post secondary grades that continue to meet our academic requirements. This letter is for submission for your study permit; please ensure to keep a copy for your records. Now my questions is, is it advisable to use this "conditional offer" to apply for study permit or should I wait until i receive the unconditional offer? Please help out house!! @Amefrica, Slimdel, Slimdel001 abeg make una put mouth for this matter!!! One Luv! |

Asumns:You shld receive a letter which indicates that your seat has been confirmed and tuition fee will be due by August, when u receive it attach it to your admmision letter so they know that the school is not yet ready to accept tuition fees. Send them a mail and request for the letter if they ve not sent to you. The course I applied for is Welding Inspection and Quality control at picto campus. Am submitting my application next week. how abt you |

Too many questions at the same time...I advise you go back and read from Part 5. pchax shared this link a while ago kciano: Hey Kciano, if you checked out my document, the first page of my dad's document can serve as a letter of introduction (and that of my in law too). A letter of introduction should basically do the following: 1) Show the sponsor knows you (biological relationship or otherwise) 2) Show WHY the sponsor wants to sponsor you (Motivation) 3) Point out that the sponsor has the means to sponsor you from a brief explanation of his occupation. You can choose many formats to package your application just make sure that your letter of introduction reflects the above 3. Best of luck! 3 Likes |

<rant> This type of attitude irritates me and I believe this is one of the reasons why Nigeria is not progressing. Please permit me to take this personal and go into hibernation after I finish ranting. Yes, this is a rant! I worked in the Software Industry for quite a while in Nigeria and I met very brilliant and smart guys but the industry is going nowhere in Nigeria because our software developers lack something - COLLABORATION. I see dudes here churn our some wonderful apps and solve problems. I have met some of them and they are not half as smart as the average Nigerian but they are more productive. Why? 'Cos they put heads together and augment their strengths. Now bringing it home, someone was asking for an SOP to use as a guideline and you arrogantly dismiss the person. I honestly believe that a lot of people here fail in their application because they do not have ideas of how to package their applications and sell themselves to the VOs. I am a strong believer in the open-source stuff and sharing of knowledge. I mean, just imagine if people here could gain access to dozens of SOPs, they can pick ideas from a couple of them and form their own style. This new style would add more to the already existing dozen SOPs. See, these Indians, Bangladeshis, heck, even Iranians do not have a proper command of english and they chop TRV more than Naija. I stumbled on one of their forums and that was where I got most of my ideas from. Imagine! Iran has had strained ties with America for decades and don't even have a Canadian embassy or consulate or whatever in their country and still they are the 4th largest population in my school. Most of them said they went to Turkey to apply for TRV. How come these countries get approval despite terrorists ties or little or no diplomatic ties with Canada? They use templates. They collaborate. They share! Please guys, let's learn to share and collaborate more especially when it would add more to knowledge. I am not by any means saying you should share your SOP before you get your TRV (that is plain stupidity). But after you don chop the Visa, you can remove personal info from your SOP and share it. Or at least share the RESOURCES that you used to construct your own SOP if you are uncomfortable sharing your own. </rant> 20 Likes |

Slimdel001: Yes I live in sask and work in the oilfield but all the oil is still by the Alberta border. It's only a small portion in sask and major industries are agricultural and trades. Alberta used to be the strongest for jobs but there's been so many lay offs already. They have stopped drilling and are cutting back but the longer the price of oil is low, the more jobs will become in danger. |

Honestly i feel some of us don't take the pain to google before asking questions here, information on sop can easily be found through google. use keywords like "sample statement of purpose", "how to write a statement of intent". you will find very helpful and well written examples. Asumns: 1 Like |

are you registered in nigeria or india , if nigeria you will have to start the process once you are about leave. they are forms that will be sent to you once yo register on their website, you will take it to the nursing board you are registered under, the school you finished from and where you are working also your ielts result will be needed. then they will inform you if you are eligible to write the exam cynthiaezebaby: |

I am still in the struggle o. pchax, how the town my last app was structured Like urs, I took the same risk you too by not putting my personal finance, but my own no come work. To the newbies, it's not easy but you got to read up, to get the basics, we are at the point of tackling The technicality to this visa processing Which seems very complex. kudos to everyone 1 Like |

laweenu: From my little experience, here is my 2 cent. Depending on your age, either you say you work for your dad in your SOP, without putting employment letter or you tell him to start paying you into your account so you can include your own statement and employment letter when the time comes. Once you mention anything in your application, you must provide proof to back it up. I work in my sisters company, i mention in my first application, that I worked with my sister's company I was refused because of insufficient funds well I didn't provide all my sponsors bank statement, second application I now included an employment letter from the company, now they want to see my assests and financial. |
