Hello house, please I need clarification with sth, I have all necessary documents and I have also passed my IELTS but the issue now is that, I work in a bank and my job function is mainly reconciliation of accounts and monitoring of accounts. I am try ongoing to apply for NSPN but then I think my NOC is 1114 though I am a chartered accountant. Pls can I apply under NOC 1111 . And I want to be sure of my chances with NSNP before selecting the province under EE pool. Or does anybody know of any provincial nominee program coming up soon? |

Kudos to Solomonwis and others that have kept this thread alive and offered assistance to guys here. I would have loved to help more but I'm not as informed about EE as much as FSW and not taken the time to read about it. Don't be discouraged about the EE by thinking u must get a job from here first. Always key into the Provincial nominee program by applying as soon as any comes up with that alone u can earn 600 points. congrats to all with recent updates Lastly, Read the official website thoroughly cic.gc.ca |

fphumie: You don't necessarily have to bother about your chances with NSPN simply because you are not restricted as to the number of provinces you can choose as your option about where to live. Infact, I don't think we are restricted to quoting just one NOC while filling your profile on EE, just look for how to compose all your job functions under the nearest NOC code, and for the purpose of the PNP, use the one they need people for. Note that if you enter the pool, you are expected to register in jobbank, which will give employers access to your cv so to say, and can as such get you a chance of getting a job offer which is as good as a PNP in getting you 600points. So, you can choose as many provinces as indication of where you can live and don't restrict yourself to just Nova Scotia. Also, look for other provinces who will roll out their EE provincial nomination either soon or later e.g, Saskatchewan, Manitoba....I think British Columbia is also on. You can check Ontario as well... |

AENY: If you can tell me what your details are, I may be able to tell you why you were deemed ineligible. Mostly, you may be deemed ineligible if you indicated while filling your profile, that you don't have ECA(an evaluation of your qualifications by an approved body which determines the equivalence of it in Canadian educational system) for your qualification. Also, your IELTS score must be at least 6 in all the segments and you must have at least one year work experience in occupations classified under skill type 0(managerial) or skill level A or B under NOC 2011 classification or in the alternative, if you are a technician, check if your job is classified under C or D. However, having the minimum requirement may still not be sufficient, as a point based system for the programme I feel you will likely qualify for(FSW)requires that you score 67/100. Having the minimums in all the factors considered may not get you sufficient score. Possible is also is the amount of money you indicated that you have, I think the least you should indicate as a single person is like 13-15k Canadian dollars. So, let's know what your situation is on all I've mentioned 1 Like 1 Share |

fphumie: You have to apply under the NOC that matches your work experience and not necessarily your educational qualification even though that counts too. |

Hello Gurus, Kindly look at part of an email (in red below) from Accra Visa Office regarding my application: 1) Updated Proof of funds: you must have in the form of transferable and available funds, unencumbered by debts or other obligations. Send updated bank statements, fixed deposit certificates, etc. If you have made large deposits into your accounts or fixed term investments, you must provide evidence of where the funds originated. For more details please see: 2) Proof of your involvement and right to profits from family company (company code, registration, letter from the bank, company bank statements, etc. My questions are: a) At this stage, can I still change my account type? I sold a landed property recently and I intend opening a fixed deposit with it. A new addition to my family has made the former POF insufficient. b) In my application, I attached a letter to buttress my source of POF explaining that my wife runs our family business. Now, CIC wants proof of this family business as stated in (2) above. But the problem are that, the business is not registered with CAC (because it's just a small store that sells few building materials) and we do not have a separate business account (we use our personal account which we submitted the statement of account to CIC earlier). Now that AVO wants this proof, what can I do and I have less than 30 days? Please, I need your advise urgently on these. Regards |

solomonwis:employment letter is not mandatory, but in this instance it was required because she was employ into the organisation in a different role and later promoted into the one she used to apply for FSW. In the package they returned they said she did not provide her employment letter or promotion letter into that role. |

hello house. a big congratulations to all those that have received PERs and MRs. May the rain of PER and MR fall on those awaiting theirs as well, and me inclusive. Pls i have an enquiry. I am a december 29th applicant but i am a bit skeptical about my work experience. apparently my NYSC work experience is the same as the NOC under which i applied, i got a letter of reference and it stated that apart from federal allowance, i was also being paid a stipend every month (though it was in cash). what i did was add my NYSC posting letter to the company and i traced my statement of account where my allawee was being paid into ( since it has to be a paid job). i hope it will be accepted as a work experience. |
