If Victor Banjo didn't disobey orders at Ore the political landscape would have been so much different as it is now, wouldn't it? But anyway times have changed,technology advanced and the need well justified....the funny irony is we are in a far better position than 1969 becaa we are well intergrated in a the lagos society,yorubas cannot stomach a full blooded internal and external militant struggle,the price isn't Lagos as it was back then but crude oil installations offshore and onshore in our own backyard...we just need to subdue Lagos so the North led nationalists won't launch from there against our borders.....Yorubas will be urged to stay away or better still migrate or face crushing defeat if one hair of an igbo civilian is harmed.

Igbos have properties in stable economic countries like US UK japan why do you think that lagos that enjoyed a lot of crude fund for so many years suddenly becomes yours?or do you want to steal peoples investment,that shows your region will be full of chaos there will be no law and order.

Imo state produces 6% of Nigerian’s 2.9 million barrels of oil per day. That is 174,000 bpd. When oil was $130, that amounted to $22.6 million per day and $8.3B a year. Today, oil is $50 that means Imo State is generating £8.7 million per day. That is $3.2B per year. Abia State produces even more, Anambra a little less. The whole of south south produce almost 75 of the remaining.

Now how much do all the Yoruba states contribute to the running of Nigeria? We in the east and south south are subsidizing both Hausas and Yorubas. You guys should be grateful for ones to those that are keeping you breathing.

You can’t change the facts on the ground by following Joseph Gobble’s mantra: repeat a lie as often as possible and people will begin to think it’s true. Those of you that hate Igbos and south south people will never see progress because nobody bites the hand that feeds him/her without inviting the anger of God upon him and the family

Upon the oil blocks the Hausas and Yorubas control in Nigeria, 95% of beggars on our streets is either Hausa or Yoruba. Think about it.

I'm Yoruba and i should let you know we are not antagonizing you. We are making best of the Biafran idea. Have you asked why Igbo in southwest and North only go home (to village they call it) during Christmas and they don't take their cars along.

Have you asked if Igbo in other parts of Nigeria will willing leave and go back to the east.

Biafra was only possible in 1966 because of the pogrom against igbo in the North that forced all of them from other parts of Nigeria to go back to the east otherwise igbi wouldn't leave those areas.

Moreover have you checked the Nigerian map to see that the whole of Southeast is barely larger than Bornu state. Can this place occupy the whole of Igbo in Nigeria?

Southeast is land locked which means for your importation and exportation you'll need to go though neighboring countries.

Wake up my friends. This is why we are laughing because except there is a war (which i don't pray for) that forces igbo back to the Southeast, Biafra will remain only on the pages of the newspaper.
Brother Nothing to worry about. we are not going to cede an inch of the lagos borders and water ways to anybody.check the Map of Biafra you find out we are in the bite of Biafra. Biafra is the whole of SS/SE including the occupied Lagos.
