Lemme assume that you are lazy and you dont want to write toefl... If the schools in usa says they dont need it, am sure when you get there they will ask you to do English placement test but if you have toefl or ielts, you are good to go..

Take a bold step to write toefl or ielts because it will be a better advantage for you in future.
in addition, after taking the required English placement test here, you'll have to take some ESL classes before beginning your academic classes... Do you wanna waste your precious money on what you already know??
Conditional admitted students (ESL students) end up writing TOEFL here in order to skip the ESL classes, reduce cost and hasten their Academic classes-- to graduate on time..

my last marketing class got me cracking up. We were analysing marketing based on environment. And we talked about food.

The prof asked what kind of meat Americans love? I heard beef and pork. He asked me what kind of meat do Africans prefer, I started with goat, beef, cat, rabbit and dogs. cheesy

When they heard dogs, they all kept quiet, looked at me in a funny way. I stared at them and said Yes! Dogs, all kinds of dogs, in as much as it's yummy.

I know say for their mind, they'll be like I better not catch you near my ruby else you'll go to jail.

Very many USA applications are decided when the VO reads the file that you submitted.
Face to face questions are just to check some points.

If you are worried why not just do TOEFL?

If you do the rightful things, the VO wont reject your visa.. Don't be scared at all about the interview..

You just have to tell the VO what you have been doing since then and fill up the gap
