kennydee05:The op used the abuja- kaduna rail, was that rehabilitated? We must really give kudos to the goodluck administration, he has done what no other head of state has done, the change APC are clamouring for is the return to the old ways of corruption and mismanagement. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

kennydee05: Seems misleading people is your day job abi?The Kaduna-Abuja rail line is a new standard guage rail line which is wider and more modern than the narrow guage lines.Even if he just rehabilitated the Old narrow guage isnt that something he should be given credit for 7 Likes |

I hope you know its the same contractor CCECC thats is handling both the abuja and lagos rail line. The scope of work which LASG have expended 160 billion naira on is not for the railway alone, the whole project is being handle by two contractor CCECC for the rail and Julius Berger for the road, beside a lot of building gave way to accommodate the ten lane road and the rail track and the rail track is a double standard gauge track. The abuja rail track might cost less because they do not have to pay compensation to anybody and their is a long stretch of the track which is single standard gauge. |

agabaI23: Do you have the details of the the whole project? Is the Kaduna-Abuja rail crossing rivers too? A post up there affirmed the lagos project will pass over the lagoon so until you factor all those constraints in plus e.g settlement of citizens who'll lose properties to the rail right of way, you will be incapable of being very objective in these comparisons. |

Truth be told, APC leaders are the most corrupt people in Nigeria. It's no news that Amaechis is the most corrupt governor. Fashola has succeeded in pulling Lagos back to the stone age by not improving on infra structural devpt. Vote PDP, vote jonathan for a real and transparent leader. 8 Likes 1 Share |

@ OP, the projects you listed are all different from standard railway to light rail, metro rail and mono rail in different environment and different cost of labor and material. Eko Rail has tons overhead bridges, metro stations, metro rail bridge over the Lagoon to marina, IPPs to power the whole system and so on Fingers are not equal so quit peddling ignorant tales.... Grow up and stop thinking like a 2 year old... 1 Like |

The only political party that lacks issue base campaign, because its obvious it wouldn't sell their candidate well, so they went on character assassination campaign. Its obvious what the outcome has become and how scared they are even now that the elections has been postponed. #March4buhari 28 |

Did you read what you typed at all? Incase you don't know what a 4km journey is,let me explain it to you. From Allen junction to oshopey plaza,is 2km. Multiply that distance by 2 and you'd get 4km. Imagine a rail project for that distance, costing 150bn naira. A journey that won't cost you more than 50 naira in Lagos that is expensive. Of what economic sense is that? Isn't that just pure broad day light robbery? barcanista: 4 Likes |
