Women are hypocrites. If the husband happens to be the one who looked through his wife's phone, women ll start calling him names; they ll say that the husband is possessive and insecure
my guy you nailed it!
I remember a thread where a guy went through his wife's phone and noticed her flirtations with another man.the man was calling her "my love" and she was calling him sweet heart.the husband found out and threatened to end the union.you need to see the comments from useless nairaland women.they called him all sorts of name..some said he's not ready for marriage, some said it was just an endearment, infact, they threw the whole blame on the husband even asking him to work on himself.honestly, nairaland have made me to have a more negative opinion of women because what they write here is exactly from the depth of their hearts.the thing even made me to know that I shouldn't even kill myself over woman.just let her go and move unto the next one.

Back to topic!
Op, its your wife we're talking about here and not a gf. You must have really effed up big time.. Apologize to her with a promise never to do such again.

I used to be an advocate of 'full disclosure' in rship but I am gradually beginning to review that stand cos experience has thought me to.

I'd be a tad bit insensitive to dismiss all you've said outrightly.

I say this because even though I've not openly told my story to the world, I've seen my love for a guy rubbed in my face, I've been spoken to in a very harsh and controlling manner, and even though I'm actively recovering, I was damaged psycho-emotionally.

I used to be in support of full disclosure too, like you I'm still reviewing that aspect (especially in a dating r/ship context).

However Bro.
Whether it is dating o
Whether it is marriage.

In this aspect of cheating/opposite sex, disclosure is a must.
Loyalty is un-negotiable.
Not because the person deserves it or not, but because it's my character, my person, that's the only way I can sleep peacefully at night.

At this stage of my life, if I consider a person good enough to date me and VICE VERSA, depending on his level of security, (because I know I'm very prone to the attraction of the male folk) I will do my best to clear his doubts, should he present them.

If it means full disclosure in that area, then so be it.

I'm doing it mainly for myself, sanity and peace of mindsmiley

Do unto others......

Forgiveness is a choice. My husband cheated on me with his long time gf barely two months into our marriage. I saw the messages... I wanted to commit suicide. I was pregnant at that time. I felt abused, disappointed and bad. He apologised and I forgave him. Eight months later, I saw him send his unclad picture to the same girl. I threatened to pack out of the house, he apologised again, and promised not to do it again.

Now, you know what? I don't care any more. Whether he is still seeing the girl or not is his problem. He is answerable to God. He is a xtian, he ministers in church now. So if he still indulges in such acts, he will have God to answer to.

Do you why I kept on forgiving him? Because he apologised. It still pains me, but I have promised myself that the forgiveness will stand, and I will continue to forgive him, even if he does something worse. Because I cannot continue to bear grudge in my heart. I want to make heaven.

The best I can do is to be wise. When I say being wise, it means protecting myself and my children from whatever inactions or actions of their dad that might want to cause harm to us.
You are too meek for my liking. Be careful so you don't get infected with HIV or some other STD.

By d way did u snatch him 4rm d girl? Cos it seems u hv accepted ur fate!

In my opinion, yes, a woman may check on her husband's phone deliberately or by chance; men should be aware of this and delete quickly or remain faithful. The op under-estimated this risk. The wife overreacted and this is annoying the husband: wife has a huge anger. Management problem which shocked husband.

Advice is calculate the losses of a divorce versus her good features and your role in the issue. It's your choice.

During my nysc, I volunteered for our local HiV awareness group and the things I saw.
The things I saw embarassed. Hmm

One guy was even on drugs and didn't tell his wife. The woman was so sick she nearly lost her pregnancy. After she tested positive, she was made to bring her husband for couple's counseling and the man was lying that he didn't know he could infect her since he was on drugs.

I thank God she didn't commit suicide because she was at that point already.

That's what turning the blind eye to an unrepentant cheat can lead to.
I wonder if she can ever forgive herself for bringing a HIV positive baby into this world to suffer because she couldnt leave the man who's penis was perpetually on adventure.

What my eyes have seen for some weeks now eh. We give drugs to nothing less than 60 pple per week. I gave this beautiful woman n her 7yr old kid ARs today and I almost cried. Very beautiful woman

Each "class" has its attendant responsibility.
Towards the end of his life, Albert Einstein had wished he was not famous. All messiahs in history have suffered crucifixion/persecution in one form or another.

My friend, never trust women, use them and spill them out.

This is what they do in real world bro, in the next couple of years, through their propaganda, they ll turn all men(The useless ones though) to Mumu.

Guess what! In 21st century, women ll be caught red handed, cheating on her husband and the next thing you hear from all these useless and unmarrieable ladies is that the lady may be going through domestic violence or emotional negligence from her husband; they ll make an attempt to turn the blame on the husband but turn the table around, they ll tell their fellow lady to move out asap.

I don't blame them though cos some useless men have turn themselves to Mumus. You need to see what guys do so as to have ladies' attentions.

Most marriages u see today are still intact cos most of these unhappy guys have accepted their fate.

You can imagine a lady slapping guys cos she beautiful and guys ll tell her "babez, don't do that again pls, I don't like it". Chaiii!!!! Real story bro but she met her Waterloo d day she tried that stunt with me cos she found out that I was cheating, I allowed her to cook and relax on the bed before giving her a well deserved slapsss and blows and she consequently fainted for about 15mins but wasn't bothered. She woke up to see her well packed bag on the table for her unceremonious departure. She went on her kneels and started telling me how she had been spoilt by her useless exs who wouldn't say anything abt this repulsive attitude......

I don't get it...why people think they have the right to go thru someone's cell phone. It is supposed to be very private and that's why they come with se urity locks and codes. You shouldn't even be answering someone else's phone. Well...both OP and his wife are too immature for marriage...I guess they both just turned 18 and rushed to tie the knot. Trouble in Paradise.

instead of the rate of infection reducing with all the awareness campaigns and all what not, Nigeria remains of the countries with growing rates of infection because we would rather promote the culture of infidelity. Tufia.

she woke him up @ 2am, rained abuses on him, failed to allow him to make explanations, smashed his phone and packed her bags and left the house. and some people here still have brains to condemn the man. hmnnnnn. end times are here indeed.
now to mr married, am sure u didn't marry for a virtuous woman, pardon my language. however I fear for your life, that thing you called wife could have strangled, or shot u in your sleep without giving u a fair chance to explain your self. you might not be lucky the next time . thank your stars you are alive..
wonder if people taught God was stupid when he still gave Adam and Eve a chance to explain why they committed sin despite being already aware of their acts. the churches have failed in all aspects on Nigerians

I got lots of respect for Nigerian women because they have lot of tolerance, grace and patience.... Cuz what some nijia men do while in a relationship is damn right ugly and the funny thing is its perfectly normal, which makes me question their psychological state of mind.

My experience living in Nigeria n seeing some men treat ladies like dirt cuz they got money n women having no choice bt to fall in line isn't good.. So please fellow brothers lets adore n respect our women n for our women keep ur dignity... One love

Who cares? I dumped her before she could say Jack Robinson but d dumping wasn't funny u know, it was dramatic.

You better adopt the saying "Let a woman goes into the world and let the world takes whatever it wants from her". The moment a lady leaves your place, she is not yours anymore, she belongs to millions of guys out there.

Finally, live an happy independent life without a woman and you ll be free from their gimmicks/problems for life.
