My leader should be one with extreme integrity, dependable and hardworking with good values.

Change is dynamic and it's certainly not going to stop after the next election. Nigerians should stop accepting mediocre leadership by way of accepting status quo and praying 24/7 for miracles. We vote these clowns into power so nothing stops us voting them out if they under perform.

Orji was a secondary school holder when he became governor of Abia state. However, the wish and aspiration of any soldier is to become a general. Buhari is a Nigerian Army General. we need competence not fake PHD that can not stand BSC of Unilag,UI,OAU,Uniben,UNN,ABU etc....
Did you listen to Buhari's interview with Amanpour on CNN couple of days ago? That was presidential, can you compare that with Jonathan's interview with the same Amanpour?. Jonathan has been an international disgrace and embarrassment to Nigeria, he should go away with his fake 'doctored' phd.

I hope you know its the same contractor CCECC thats is handling both the abuja and lagos rail line.

The scope of work which LASG have expended 160 billion naira on is not for the railway alone, the whole project is being handle by two contractor CCECC for the rail and Julius Berger for the road, beside a lot of building gave way to accommodate the ten lane road and the rail track and the rail track is a double standard gauge track.
The abuja rail track might cost less because they do not have to pay compensation to anybody and their is a long stretch of the track which is single standard gauge.

hw do u knw they dont pay compensation to anybody?
meanwhile people shoutng land is been compensated by owners, i can emphatically tell u AMEACHI dont compensate lanowners when he grabs their lands for any project. for ur mind na bush fg built d rail tracks, n nobody get those piece of lands abi?

Can you see ya yahoozee naij folks...the scam artists. That shiit is innate grin

I saw the thread and decided to check the background story, and do a quick research on the Ethiopian one (I got love to Ethiopia, man). Only to discover the fraud. Apparently, the rail was already there...and all they needed to do is track laying for standard modern gauge line. And these folks built that with billions. Then you've got Port Harcourt with 4km monorail gulping over 100 billion - ditto Lagos.

These folks are rogues!

If you stay in Abuja or have been to places like Kubwa in Abuja, you'll see the standard gauge tracks are entirely new, with government having to construct new bridges for vehicular movement here and there. I'd find time to take some pics and upload.

Do you know what is called right-of-way? Building a new railway track on an existing right-of-way is technically supposed to significantly reduce the overall project costs. This is a superior advantage the Abuja-Kaduna railway project has over Lagos light rail project.

For those who don't know, the Lagos light rail project is a dual project that also involves the reconstruction and upgrading of Federal highway from 6-lanes to 10 lanes. A BRT lane is also incorporated into this design. This is in addition to the light rail track been fitted alongside the road constructions. This project is the biggest infrastructural construction in West Africa. Right-of-way is being expanded to cater for the ambitious project hence leading to several demolition of structures and consequent compensations. The OP needs to study more on project management and cost analysis!
But we are talking about what has been done and the earned value.

What cheap score are u looking for here. Jaybee(GOD bless him) casually pointed you the way but ur stupid hatred for CHANGE wouldn't let you see it. Gej's built locomotive rail tracks traversing jungles and no man's land but Amaechi built his within cities and necessitated demolitions and compensations where necessary(litigations also inclusive). Same goes for Fashola but on a more grand scale. How much then, you tell me, is land sold in these places compared to jungle. Should you continue thinking with your stomach any further, I'll be left with on choice than conclude you've never been to Lagos not to mention seeing the rail tracks you're ranting about.

My response is GMB isn't an angel, he's just another devil but we've spent 5 years with the devil called GEJ and 16 years with the coven called PDP, It's time to try another one.
