Hi All,

It's with great sadness to report that DJ has passed on. We received the information late this evening but couldn't get through to any of his family members to find out timeline of events.

We understand this wasn't the news any of us wanted as our hopes was kept alive by the possibility of God's intervention.

We are comforted with the fact that DJ was a true fighter who fought the deadly disease with all he had left in him. We do know he is now in a much better place

We appreciate this is a very trying period for all concerned so we plead that we allow the family grief in private.

We will continue to support them with prayers and update you guys as of when we receive new information

am really in a state of stupor. I kept going back to read his last post. is this how people leave this world.

This is time for reflection. we dont know where or what time death is coming. Let us do the best we can and help people around us.

It's too early to make any decision with regards to that. We will come up with suggestions at an appropriate time then have all stakeholders endorse the best option

We plan to meet with the family again in a week or two

I am not also down with giving her all the physical cash at a go esp before the 40-day prayers, this can cause a lot of brouhaha and the whole thing can disappear in an instant.

I'll say the family should be given some form of financial assistance for the 40day prayers after which someone inhouse should sit with the mother to understand her next steps and help to establish her in whatever trade she wishes to engage in. This discussion would take place after the 40day day prayers though.

Just to say a big thank you to all TeHN members.
It's not easy to put one's challenges aside their own issues and follow up the plight of other people.
You guys have demonstrated that you have big hearts and have shown great examples for others.
I believe you guys handled the case very well despite the huge pressure that came with it.
God knows best why DJ had to go but don't let that discourage you.
I see you guys as role models for a lot of people on this thread.

A friend lost d bro in law that was engaged to marry early this year to drunk driver on his way to night vigil dec end and since then the mum is acting very strange.it entered her head. Now they r fighting to save d mum.
