In Onithsa and Nnewi dia, they have dia individual steel firm, I know of many steel manufacturer firms in Atani road close to Onithsa head bridge and Innoson has his as well and 90 percent of the metal they get is from scraps not ore.
In Onithsa those guys produce their construction rods and nails and spoons and stainless steel plates and cups.
U guys need to visit the east beyond sentiment and see what Peter obi did in Anambra, the Enabling environment he created for these guys to sprout individually and gradually.
More and more firms re springing up and heavy industries ranging from iron and steel to Ceramics and wire Manufacturering.
