On tuesday3rd feb 2015 i meet this guy location ikeja, i already place orderr for Elephone G7 and i payed him on agree price. I test the camera and i on the phone but i did not bother to cheack the internet becos i trust him that everything was ok.
As i get home i just on my hotspot becos the owner is yet to subscribe, i setup the phone but to my suprise the play store does not open on mobile data, except on wifi. I contact initialize to explain the development to him, but this guy insist (say no service for my area) i should try other network like MTN,ETISALAT,GLO. wish i did the problem remain d same. I complained to this guy he said is not a problem i should be using WIFI (ontop new phone wey i take 33k buy). I ask these guy since u cant come to my area let meet at ikeja were u sell the phone to me since u know d solution come and help me out (this guy say he no get my time).so i complain the last time to him that my UCWEB, FACEBOOK APP, PLAY STORE not coming up this guy borne me. So people abeg is this how to do business make i stop here for know.

Your apn obviously is the problem...

like the guy above me rightly pointed out , just create new apn and select it as default. it should work out fine. I had similar experience sometimes ago and that's how i got it fixed. good luck.

Oga create a new access point with airtel ApN... Initialize can be arrogant though but he is trusted and reliable

I have offered all the assistance you need and explained to you clearly that it isn't a phone problem but the problem lies within your network.

You stated that the apps works thru WiFi but not with mobile data and I told you precisely what the problem is...

If the phone inbuilt browser open webpages through mobile data that is a proper indication that the phone has no connectivity issues. The problem is from your mobile data source. The network isn't fast/stable enough for data consuming apps.

You could buy either mtn data or Etisalat data from resellers and try again. Make sure they are on stable Egde or 3G connection.


You calling me out to come meet you to solve what I already explained to you. You assume I will do something other than what I recommended?

Also, do you want me to come to Lagos just for network settings?



***Sometimes it takes a problem to let us know our hidden strenght/ability.... My phone curiosity didn't just happened, it stated during my time with Nokia N-series.

The quest to keep it up to date with all latest apps and software made me the Initialize you know today..... Task yourself to solve this little network problem and let me rest.***


Also, next time don't threaten me to perform, it will only make me more resolute.... I offered you help when you asked and told you what to do which is obvious that you haven't done it. don't say that bro,he is not trying to spoil his reputation,he should av assist his client to help configure the phone or tell him how to do it instead just boning him as the op had stated..

You know how it is painful to get a new phone and experience some problem when trying to do anything on it..

Op,i'll suggest you create a new APN ,just like what others av said,some of this phone don't automatically install APN like tecno or gionee.. Phone like HTC always do the same,you have to configure it manually..

Hello guys, i dont know if the OP has solved the problem. however, i had a similar problem with a phone i ordered sometime ago. the playstore had a problem of not working. after several efforts to no avail, i decided to reinstall with the latest playstore after rooting and gbam. the playstore head correct immediatly.

i dont think its a phone problem but software issues which is very solveable. give it a try.
