It s a free world and anyone can choose whom soever he wishes. Although I did nt come across the thread but I know barcanister as among d key progressive here. If he decide to port or criticize apc dat his decision and should be respected

Yes many PDP states have domesticated it including Anambra State.

Thank you for your words. I will state to the forum now that I have no issues with barcanista yet I will never act as childishly as he has done and have no intentions to open any thread about him. I do not even care if Barcanista begins to praise GEJ and the PDP because he has switched sides and opinions here many times and compromised himself. This is something I have never done. What I was yesterday is what I am today and will be tomorrow. Me and Barcanista have different reasons for joining Nairaland and this is why the people and side I supported the day I joined this forum remain the same I support till today. Even people who dislike me know I am no flip-flopper and they know I won't be speaking from both sides of my mouth.

What I take offence to is duplicitous and treacherous behaviour. People of integrity know that a man cannot be all things to all men and they will not try to do so as Barcanista does. If not for his subtle effort to undermine the APC, I really do not have an axe to grind with him because the progress of Nigeria is something I take far more seriously than some back-and-forth squabble with faceless forumers who come and go by the very nature of online blogging. The issue is done for me. I do not need any PM from anyone. Let Barcanista stay in his lane and I stay in mine. As simple as that.

WHEN I TOLD BARCANISTA HOW WRONG HE WAS/IS ASSOCIATING WITH APC....HE DIDNT GET IT.

I USED AN ILLUSTRATION WHERE HE SUPPORTED A LOOSING MESSI AGAINST AN IMPRESSIVE RONALDO WITH BAD WORLD CUP APPEARANCE...HE FELT IT WAS OUT OF PLACE.

Barcanista thread has created an uproar among Nairaland progressive for a good reason.

Personally, I think he wasn't objective enough and for a decided voter, trying to be neutral as regards issues is a slippery slope. APC progressives have genuine grievances because since he openly declared his support for APC and i think internal criticisms should be in house in other to prevent arming the opposing party. This is the election period after all and we have seen how Nairaland articles have been lifted and used for propaganda purposes on both sides.

Nairaland progressives should keep in mind however that attacking Barca openly will be exploited by the members of the opposing party and will take the attention away from the main objective which is to see Jonathan removed from office through the ballot box

I am calling for calm and propose a in house meeting between all Nairaland progressives to settle the bad blood and focus on the job at hand.
