please i really need some great advise for serious mindful individuals here on Nairaland... i am a student and just registrar my business name with

CAC these year. and i wanted to invest on mini cyber cafe in my area because of high demand for the services with my little $1000 Dollars in

my bank account, but my little finding makes understand that i will spend close to half of the cash to secure a good location and government

taxes amounting to #30,000 per annual. So my current taught is i want to develop a brand new website, then i will import good used smart-

phones from USA &UK and resell it at a good price online to end users Online / Offline (My Site, Oxl, Nairaland, etc) from the comfort of my

bedroom. Please your advise is highly needed if my second taught is ok and perfect as a little beginner .#Okueq

Cyber cafe's wouldn't be around 50 years from now but if there's a urgent need for it and you have the means, then do it!.

Entrepreneurism is about filling a need in the society.

Now, you need to be sure and plan your budget well if the funds you have would be enough.

You should have a plan that details the ISP, number of systems, operational premises e.t.c

I also commend you on registering your business!.

Indeed, the biggest undoing of most Nigerian young entrepreneurs is their failure to give their business the needed legality. This deters potential investors.

I have learn something from your write-up & I never consider the life span of the business and of which is very important in any business one wants to kick off with. Currently your write-up has sharpen my ideas and am beginning to think toward agriculture because I have passion for it and I have been involve in it one way or indirect. I may apply for 3 months training on plantain production or poultry farming or fish farming...all the same thanks a lot and more advise is very much welcome

Don't waste your money. Cyber cafe is not a scalable nor a sustainable business. You have to think longterm. Ask yourself: will cyber cafes still be around 50 years from now. If your answer is no, then forget it.

Pls can you shed more light on how much and how you registered your company with CAC.... just what I need right now!!
