Next time settle down read the tweet well. That tweet was sent today and they said the visit was scheduled for yesterday which is the 16th. Keep trying to feed others lies. Why don't you ppl give us the whole tweet. So we can see where they said it didn't hold today.

your right, i live in maiduguri and i can state this clearly, yes he came to maiduguri, visited the emir, came to the ramat square mount the stage and left in less than 10minutes because the crowd couldnt be controlled by the security personals present so for safety reasons he was escorted out, before they strangle him to death all in the bit to touch him.. he flew out of maid immediately. except he landed in chibok with parachute..

The JTF Commanders on ground were reported to have been taken by surprise and shocked at Buhari’s daring request to proceed to Chibok immediately after the rally and refused to provide him security cover until they received a clearance from their superiors in Abuja.


Now that is what leadership is all about. It's not that difficult.


GMB left for Chibok inspite of their refusal to go along with him and was moved when he came out and saw the thousands of Civilian JTF members who had volunteered to provide security for him,the Borno Governor and their entourage to and from Chibok Town,and off they went.

The people and parents of Chibok were filled with hope and joy upon sighting Buhari and his entourage,and escorted him into Chibok with singing and dancing.


Crowd receives Buhari in Maiduguri

After he addressed the people and parents of the girls, a pastor offered prayers for the safe return of Buhari and his entourage back home and for his victory at the polls.

The villagers got emotional and some of them started weeping when the General was getting set to depart for Maiduguri later in the night.

Buhari shelves visit to Chibok

(I don't how this garbage went through to front page. I am pro-buhari but I don't like mis-representation. Pls, note mode, always verify the authencity of stories espeicially that border on poltical,religious and ethic before moving it to front page because it carry a vantage position.) There are the true story.

The visit of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), to Chibok, was put off at the last minute on Tuesday due to the tight schedule and the crowd that opted to follow the former Head of State to the Borno State town.

No fewer than 270 girls from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, were abducted by Boko Haram fighters on April 14, 2014, from the school while preparing for their final examinations.

Director of Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Organisation, Garba Shehu, confirmed on Tuesday that the general was scheduled to visit the parents of the abducted girls on Tuesday.

“He(Buhari) was scheduled to visit, but the enormity of the crowd (apart from the rally and a visit to the Shehu of Borno) made everything impossible. A date for Chibok is under consideration,” Shehu said.
