This woman is throwing the question of governance back to the people of Nigeria. Is it the responsibility of Nigerians to strengthen institutions against corruption. She refused to also talk about the culture of impunity when the president keep appointing people fing-ered in corruption cases or pardoning their crimes. How can Fani Kayode be your campaign spokesman. It is that culture that makes people believe they can be corrupt and get away with it...

We also went to school, Dr Iweala. Don't make us feel stupid!

Which university did this woman go self! Corruption is everywhere in the world Mr woman. Ours is more than corruption. How did she even enter that uni she attended self big disgrace.

Mention:

Same question I keep asking myself

I read the article over and over again to see where she mentioned that corruption is only found in Nigeria but did not see any. Which means both of you are a big disgrace to your parents who sent you both to school (plus any other persons who will like your post) but at the end, came out without cognitive reasoning.

The processes and systems we have in place to curb corruption is too bogus for madam Ngozi and her pay master to understand....give GMB the same platform and the same processes and systems will wipe corruption to the minimum

Yet the capacities of the ICPC! EFCC and police financial and forensic arm has not been upgraded. What institutions does she mean, is it only ICT that can counter corruptioption, what happened to the good old fashioned courts? What of several probes that the House carrier out and submitted findings about? Did anthing come of them?

NOI, please stop speaking as though you are addressing 2 year olds. It's patronizing and insulting.

we know, the only capacity the federal government of Nigeria has is to mismanage, misappropriate and embezzle public funds. As for fighting corruption,we all know that as long as there is a will, there is always a way...this woman might not be as intelligent as i thought.
Re: We Lack The Capacity To Prevent Corruption In Nigeria – Okonjo-Iweala by detola99(m): 12:50pm On Feb 18, 2015
Well... I think she has a hand in our inability to fight corruption because she worked as a finance minister with a Government that silenced the only fairly working system that was helping in the fight against financial crimes(EFCC) and she did nothing about it.
Its a typical example of a gateman that was employed to man a gate and eventually the locks and keys to this gate was broken overnight and he never cared

Nigeria my COUNTRY.
Corruption seems like a virus in our blood already, both young and old, poor and rich. It goes beyond political inclination cos it has eaten very deep into every sector and department of our federal institutions/parastatal/ministries.

I think the change we so much desire should start with YOU.
