While Don Jazzy is appearing in every music blog in Nigeria as the second richest Nigerian artiste, Dbanj is getting sued for unpaid debts while regretting ever leaving Mo Hits. |
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by mikuz(m): 2:38pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
coogar: He achieved all these while he was still with Don Jazzy or Don Jazzy produced all the songs that got him this achievements. Dbanj's biggest song in his career is Oliver Twist. Don Jazzy sang in it and also produced it. Don Jazzy made Dbanj who he is. |

Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by coogar: 4:12pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
mikuz: that's why i said don jazzy is a local champion. d'banj has won every relevant music award in nigeria. there's nothing else to tap there musically but there's money to be made on foreign soil. mikuz: who cares about producers? so eminem's skills should be credited to dre? are you insane? if don jazzy is such a don, why hasn't he found another d'banj? dorobücci? we don't know that here in the UK. we only know of oliver twist. d'banj is sharing stages with U2, Bono, etc in glastonbury while don jazzy is drinking loya milk with mgbeke artistes like dr.sid, phyno & d'prince. levels pass levels......
don jazzy was a keyboardist in the UK for a juju crooner called solek. it was d'banj that sold him the idea to go to lagos. it was d'banj's BQ they first lived. it was d'banj's momma's car they first drove. d'banj made don jazzy. 1 Like |

coogar: Dbanj owes everything he has won to Don Jazzy. Hes living off his partnership with him. Your consistency and your ability to stay relevant is what determines your quality. What foreign money are you talking about? What's the need to go look for greener pastures elsewhere when your mates are making money more than you locally. Dbanj is penny wise, pound foolish! cooger: Yes, Eminem's skills should be credited to Dre! Dre brought the best out of Eminem. He made his greatest achievement in rap working with Dre. Dre discovered and brought the best in him. You prolly couldn't have known who Eminem is if it wasn't for Dr Dre. Some niggas are better off in partnership while others are not. 2face left Planteshun boiz, he blew and Blackface fell. Kcee left Kcee Presh, Kcee became a bigger brand and Presh fell. Dbanj left Mo Hits and fell while Don Jazzy became bigger. cooger: Don Jazzy made Oliver Twist. If Dbanj is really bigger than him let him make another Oliver Twist. cooger: Why did he have to convince Don Jazzy? Why didn't he move to Nigeria on his own? Simple, because he knew he can't he can't make it on his own without Don Jazzy's help. |

characteristics of local rappers They gather noting but 40% beat 55% rhymes and 5% lyrics. |

Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by GIYAZZ(m): 8:17pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
Heywhizzy:The beat is 90% d0pe! I loved that Lololololo, Local rapper hook and refrains. . . AQ's beat wasn't that d0pe but he killed it, we still need a rapper with a d0per beat to serve this beef hot for real! The question is: who will it be? |
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by Heywhizzy(m): 8:17pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
I googled pelepele and he was in ybnl before or something like that..it was a direct shot to olamide and it has many personals |
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by coogar: 8:35pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
mikuz: where's the proof that his mates are making money than he is? d'banj signed a second endorsement with glo. sources claim it's the highest among the celebs in naija - d'banj & p-square pinch the highest from glo. on top of that he is running koko garri.....he said he's looking at making apple buy his koko mobile franchise. he's signed on ciroc & beats by dre. you have to be a fool not to know d'banj rakes in the most money in nigeria. he's milking money home & away.
so how come eminem has sold more since he left dre? you are a neophyte in this matter. eminem would have been the same if he had gone to def jam or any other record label in 97/98.
which stüpid partnership? it was after d'banj left mo hits that he struck gold. no deal compares to being the only african ambassador of beats by dre. this is not a mgbeke loya milk deal. this is the biggie!
d'banj sang oliver twist na d'banj dey claim the royalty. who mixed the beats & whatever is immaterial. after then, top of the world came out & became the music theme of african cup of nations. i am shocked dorobucci wasn't chosen instead.
he convinced him cos don jazzy was fired by solek. he was stealing their money. he was jobless. d'banj was moving to nigeria & he lent a helping hand to a dying friend. without d'banj, don jazzy is just another 04kaa. |
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by Heywhizzy(m): 8:37pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
GIYAZZ:the both were dope,I think that's enough to make those three local rappers reply,if insults to punchline persists, modo,m.I,vector and co won't sit down and watch all y'all on one song, still that ish didn't buzz/ridiculous/you gonna need a lot more to get rid of us |
Re: NL Rap Battles chatroom by gottoboy(m): 8:39pm On Feb 18, 2015 |
