Instead of the citizens(APC inclusive) to support the government in tackling this boko haram menace, they will rather use it to score cheap political points. Nigerians may consider voting buhari if he can Proffer a solution to the insurgency before being elected as president, I think that will make him a nationalist who has the interest of the country in mind rather than personal interest. Sadly, the reverse is the case.

MY KUDOS TO OUR SOLDIERS.

I ALSO SALUTE THEIR COURAGE AS WELL.
THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN CLAMORING FOR.
WHEN IT COMES TO ISSUE OF TERRORIST IT IS A SERIOUS ISSUE.

I BELIEVE GMB WILL USE THE SAME EXPERIENCE HE USED TO DEFEATED THE INSURGENTS SOME YEARS BACK WHEN HE ASSUME OFFICE. COME MAY 29 BY THE GRACE OF GOD.

AND I BELIEVE GMB WILL NOT BLAME OPPOSITION OR A PARTICULAR TRIBE WHEN IT COME TO SECURITY ISSUES WHICH IS PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE GOVERNMENT.

who says Obama was not ready to help? Jonathan had earlier told him to mind his business and now he is appealing to them to help fight boko haram.

Does the senile one know this? If he does then this is the time for him to engage in agressive implementation of option B while the FG continues its aggressive onslaught on Boko Haram which is option A.

Obama has said it and you agree...But if it was GEJ that said it, will you concur? You'd call him clueless and say he is just making excuses. Hypocrites abound everywhere

Obama should shut up and stop making himself and US look as if they knew it all.

Where was he when there was no weapon to crush BH? Was he not the one who refused to sell weapon to Nigeria in order to use inability to flush out BH to sponsor regime change?

He should stay away from Nigeria's affairs for he is an enemy in disguise!
bro your wrong with your assertion above, why are u heating up on Obama just because he didnt sell ammo to us, cant our gvt pump money into technology and research in order to develop our own arsenal, if u like continue to abuse him, it does not really matter the guy has says the truth

Every sensible adult should already know this. The North-eastern region of Nigeria needs to see infrastructural development. The people need education, especially the girl child: when you educate a boy, you educate an individual; but when you educate a girl, you educate the society. And this brings me to the main issue: If the Chibok girls and other kidnapped girls are being radicalised and used as suicide bombers, then terrorism in Nigeria isn't going anywhere soon. I'm very angry with the Nigerian government for acting so slow. This is definitely not a forward-thinking government if they failed to recognize the dangers of girls being brainwashed earlier. Now these girls will likely teach radical Islam to their children unless something is done really fast. Nigeria is in more trouble than most people realize.

Music to my ears, the Obama conviction but your panacea is puzzling because I used to think Boko Haram means....think again. There is a missing link.

There's an African country, I've forgotten which one. Anyways, they don't have these problems. Mainly because they don't tolerate them. If you kidnap anyone the kidnapper and the kidnapped will be blasted together. The message being 'don't do it again' seems to work well for those guys, though I've forgotten which county. Might be morroco.. . .Egypt? Somewhere like that.

I think Obama himself is aware of the situation of things in Nigeria. The military alone might nt be able to defeat Boko haram because mother Nigeria have a lot of daughters( ethnic groups) with different ethnic beliefs. Instead of her grand children(members of each ethnic groups) helping matters they make it worse, all for their political gain. When citizens involve in terrorism to fight them is not an easy thing because no matter who they may be blood is thicker than water.

God will bless you for what u just type above, it seems we africans forget things quickly
@all, if we can still remember a meeting that was held in paris immediately when the issue of the chibok girls broke out last year, the like of GEJ and other african leaders were present at the meeting to discuss how to tackle the insurgent in africa, mr obama offer us help then during a press conference that he's ready to deploy US army to nigeria to fight BH our president turn down the offer by saying that boko haram are radical that he can still handle them, though there was a news that was making the round then that if US army set their foot on naija soil, they will cause this they will cause that people were saying they will take all our oil blah blah, you are now seeking for their help, pls we should reason well before we talk
