Obama statement is partially true, However the election will take place and a new leader will be elected or the incumbent will remain. Either way try as much as possible to keep yourselves safe during the election. Do not join the politicians in their war to get to power at all cost. This is an excerpt of my message that the mods deleted in another thread. It seems someone doesn't like the message in bold. I am posting on several links to get the attention of Nigerians to keep themselves safe. MODS I have not preached hate or violence but security consciousness please do not delete again

Before you join them in heating up the polity ensure you get a guarantee from them that they, their children, wives, friends who have benefited from them would be the first line of defence while we follow from a distance. If they are so passionate about this democracy and want to show their full commitment then they must lead by example starting from the battle field not the pages of newspaper, raising alarm to blackmail each other while riding on our own sentiments to cause tension and confusion. Since they love us so much then they must show it first by leading any protest that may occur as a result of any anomalies from the forthcoming election.

Jonathan might join APC tomorrow and he would be welcomed with pomp and pageantry. Do not lose sleep or your life over them, they are only doing their jobs of division, propaganda, lying and blackmail. Remember 3 million people died in the Civil war, there are no monuments to even recognise or appreciate the blood they sacrificed for Nigeria which unfortunately is still a country not a nation. The seams joining us are bursting at the hems due to the magnanimity and genourosity of our politician when preaching division and hate. Please protect your life. Do not promote or encourage violence, Nigerians will suffer most.
Election wont hold again... See my signature

Obama is not always consistent in his decision-making in the area of fighting terrorists, we have seen him making conflicting statements regarding issues of security around the world.

My advice for him is to stop speaking from both sides of his mouth, the recipe for having friends is just to be one... America is not our friend

Every sensible adult should already know this. The North-eastern region of Nigeria needs to see infrastructural development. The people need education, especially the girl child: when you educate a boy, you educate an individual; but when you educate a girl, you educate the society. And this brings me to the main issue: If the Chibok girls and other kidnapped girls are being radicalised and used as suicide bombers, then terrorism in Nigeria isn't going anywhere soon. I'm very angry with the Nigerian government for acting so slow. This is definitely not a forward-thinking government if they failed to recognize the dangers of girls being brainwashed earlier. Now these girls will likely teach radical Islam to their children unless something is done really fast. Nigeria is in more trouble than most people realize.
Yes, those kids needs serious counselling and monitoring if recovered or they all should be sacrificed for the greater good. Terrorism in the North has nothing to do with lack of education policy of this government. How many almagiri schools has been instituted in the North by this regime, how many secondary and tertiary institutions was biult for the North? This Government has tried for the North and that's why their elites are angry because if their people get educated, they will be freed of their mental slavery and of the Northern oligarchy. A Lot has been done for them already by a southerner. What did their leaders do for them ever since they have been ruling Nigeria? If they are aggrieved, they should be aggrieved with their fellow Northern leaders. Can you see what Awolowo's free Education did for the west? Will they wake up and commit suicide in the name of bombing today? They should fight their leaders rather than fighting the country. How many of their Elites kids school in Nigeria? But they will encourage an average Northerner to rather marry while they feed him and his kids so that they will forever be loyal to them and do the masters bidding. A real scenario os slave and slave masters.

All of a sudden, Obama or is it Osama realises BH are now terrorists. Why did he refuse to sell weapons to Nigerian Government when we needed it the most? Because Nigeria and AU are now demolishing those virgin tasty bastards, he is commenting. He should better keep his gutter zipped when it gets to Nigerian Ish. Nonsense.

What about the creeks of Niger Delta. If infrastructural development is not carried out there, something worse than Boko Hiram could come out from there.

Nigeria needs impactful development and reduction in corruption. As long as corruption continues in such manner as we have witnessed in this government, destructive elements will continue to grow.

We need to rethink and stop celebrating corruption. Give the youths an environment to grow.

Free Ur useless mind and U will realise GEJ has done more than all d past northern leaders in terms of educating d masses in d north.
Why did it take a GEJ to realise that almajiris need a formal education apart from cramming quran?
What has d south east gained from Nigeria that d north east doesn't have in triples?

But Obama REFUSED to sell arms to Nigeria. Its a pity that the last administration that bought arms for our Armed Forces is Shagari Government.
We are faced with Terrorism, and we have to get modern equipment to combat the insurgent,Let support the Govt and Armed Forces insteal of pulling down our Army as Obasonjo and co have been doing...This way we will get victory over Evil of BH

is it the gej govt dat cause them been uneducated?

To set the record straight, when the west and east was busy pursuing education has their govt priority for their people, the north was busy accusing and been scared of western education to be given to their people in other not to turn them to Christians and west way of life.
Today u accuse a government that has done so much for them, in terms of education more than their own brothers who rule this country for the past 4 decades without doing any education development for their pple.
it was not GEJ that made the west and the east and south to civilized and educated but it ws their past leaders like Awolowo, azikiwa and others.

pls stop accusing GEJ for the poor educational antecedent of the north rather accuse their leader.

i hav read ur post but
d govt r not to blame for d educational problems in d north cos d northeners naturally dnt believe in western education. do u realise dey r bin begged to go to school. dey prefer to go for islamic education. LET me giv u anoda example, a typical ibo boy does not believe in western education , but business (business education) . A typical ibo boy leaves school about d age of 12-14yrs to go learn a trade. he spends an average of 7 yrs wit his master and graduates to become a master of his own. i believe d govt has not forced dem to do anythin but dey are hustling dia way in d system.

let mr paint anoda pics for u. do u realise a typical ibo man prefers to develop his village dan any oda place he resides. IN igbo land a man is not complete until he builds a house in his village, thereby creating employment for artisans like bricklayers, carpenters plumbers electricians painters who wld hav bin on d street complaining of employment. i know a lot of ibo boys in lagos who reside in "FACE ME I FACE YOU" houses but hav built houses in d village. dis improves d economy of d south east even without d presence of govt dere.
i remember travellin to d north sometime last yr and noticed in a certain village dat dere was no single building except thatched houses. this is outside d fact dat d north has had d highest share of power and also d richest black man in d world(dangote) . Then i asked my self wat exactly dia problem was .most of dem dnt hav light dere and dey leaved life like dey were in anoda continent.
NOTE. A typical northerner will prefer to build a house in abuja or high brow kano than build a house in his village.
Then i ask , how do u want ur people to develop wen u dnt bring development to dem.
THE GOVT CANT DO EVRYTIN FOR US BRODA.WE NEED TO TAKE THE BULL BY THE HORN.
