Please would like to know from whoever using galaxy s5 for sprint in Nigeria since Sprint is CDMA. I would like to know before bringing it .thank you

Verizon is also a CDMA network,but I've seen their phones in Nigeria working with MTN,so I believe it should be possible..

my bro once brought in a sprint htc bt for wia? d tin din't even hv a sim slot. if urs hv a sim slot, perhaps it will work.

I think even if it has a sim slot it still has to be unlocked. Sprint is a cdma network just like verizon .

Yeah, it can work but you will have to unlock it first. I once used a Samsung Note 2 from Sprint here in 9ja. It had no sim card, so I followed some procedures in xda-developers and bought a note 2 board (roughly 4k), took the sim slot and put it in the Sprint note 2 then unlocked it. It was working perfectly. The only issue I had (really wasn't an issue though) is that you have to manually set your APN parameters otherwise , it won't browse or even show u 3G/H+ etc

Thanks to you all...It has a Sim slot and I guess it should work.I have 6 unit almost new s5 with no scratch but with bad ESN so am thinking of sending to Nija or sell on eBay for $220. If anyone interest with bad ESN s5 let me know.have many other phones for sale including s3,s4 and 76 blackberry 9900 (bold 5)

Here is how to go about it, make sure the phone is network unlocked first if it has sim slot u can test by putting anoda network sim in it over there. Now in a layman view there are two forms of network in naija
1.CDMA/EVDO (visafone, starcomms etc)
2.EDGE/3G/4G (mtn, glo etc)

If your network settings in the phone shows all this including 4G LTE then you can employ network of both gsm providers or what we call the land line providers. My Galaxy note 10.1 is verizon branded and I have used eti, glo, Mtn and visafone sim and they all worked.
