MuguliciousMUGU: And this assembly plant is powered generators abi? And you want the cars to be affordable? Putting the cart before the horse, I place my bet, all these plants will sublime before 24 months, Put Electricity right then other things will set it self into motion. It is better to slapped by the truth than to be kissed by the lies. Mind you I do not support any political party, I support good governance, you can measure good governance on its direct impact on you as an employee or an artisan, and as student you measure good governance on the direct impact it has on you parents when you request for means to give educational legacies. It's certainly impressive. When more auto-manufacturers establish plants in Nigeria, many mechanical engineering and allied jobs would be created. The next step would be to ensure that aluminium, iron etc are produced in commercial quantities in the country. |

Can an average Nigerian who is not a thieving politician afford to buy those cars? No. Are there good roads to ride the cars on? No. Are the parts used for making the vehicles produced in Nigeria? No. What then is the cause of celebration? GEJ should leave Aso Rock peacefully. Am sure when Buhari. comes, he would take care of important issues like electricity, good roads, and revive our steel mills so as. to make vehicle production a sustainable venture in Nigeria. 3 Likes |

gabicon:Some people can still afford it. Don't forget the Almeria is said to follow. This is commendable, especially when you consider that Michelin and Peugeot left Nigeria during previous administrations. |
