audreypatrick20: I doubt if you can do that, he can do that cuz he presently lives/schools there, all he has to do is show his visa page as proof of living legally there. |

My good people in canny .@fhemmy, Pchax, akani and Co and any one who has testimonies and experience should asnwer. 1.i just got admission to lambton college in ontario through maple education, though i applied through them.lambton college forwarded my admission letter to them directly and they nw sent it to me. Want to know if this admission is legit cos I thought the school is meant to send me the admission letter directly. 2.please is it possible to survive in Canada and hustle ur school fees urself when u get dia? I can only pay first semester tution fee when I get dia. Please from experienced people has anyone being in this shoe where he doesn't have anyone and he has to pay school fees through hustling over dia? |

lilspiceyy:Yes dear, paid full tuition.. No deadline, not compulsory u pay if ur Prog isn't a nursing Prog Buh if it is, Conestoga has signed off exclusive rights to Inscol academy and require u to make payment to them (will be stated in ur acceptance letter) so u decide if u wanna make full/part payment. Attached Telex copy alone, yet to get d receipt frm d Sch. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by tnuola(f): 8:11am On Feb 21, 2015 |
kciano: 1. The admission is legit, Maple is Lambton's representative in Nigeria. 2. It is not possible to hustle in canada and survive as a student. When school is in session you can only work 20hours per week, and more when on holidays. The money u make will be sufficient for your bills alone. 2 Likes |

Emiratekey: Oga, go through pt.5 to 7 and understand how things work.If you have any question after going through, you can ask. Get admission in any school you want and apply for student visa, shikena, go through the thread and educate yourself. 1 Like |

kciano: Hustle here to get full tuition. Trust God to rough it out for your bills when you get there. You have peace of mind knowing you're not hustling for your tuition when you start to study. 1 Like |

Bamz: thanks man.am doing a 2 years course.i can at least squeeze out money for 2 semesters dat is 1 year but I dnt hv money for the following year.wht do u think about it .Should I proceed with paying the ist semester fees. Am just confused |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Bamz(m): 9:25am On Feb 21, 2015 |
kciano: Well I spoke with a friend at Humber. The advise I gave you is what he gave me. During Summer there's more time to work and all, what's the probability that you will be able to get the entire tuition for the session? Progressive elaboration as your program continues implies that there will be other costs you didn't even plan for. You are not alone my friend. Be stubborn about your goals but flexible with your plans. 6 Likes |

kciano: Why not go for a year program. I was in your shoes too, I switched to another school for a year PGD. Financial aspect is now settled. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by kciano: 9:39am On Feb 21, 2015 |
vicarsenal: U mean u applied to a 2 year program here and went to Canada and on getting dia .u applied to a year program in canada? |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by vicarsenal(m): 9:52am On Feb 21, 2015 |
kciano: I did it all here in naija. If you can get a year program in Lambton switch to that. But if you can't you can apply to other schools. I applied to 4 schools, Seneca College, Humber College, Red River College, Centennial college. Got admissions in all. Seneca gave me admission without even paying any app fee . You can check them out, a nice school. 3 Likes |

Emiratekey: Guy, 1. Search for schools with your intended course of study and affordability 2. Apply 3. Get admission 4. Gather your docs 5. Then you can come back to ask questions Thanks |

kciano: In my opinion, your best shot is to gather the tuiton for the duration of 2years before u embark on going, then hustle your living expenses. Or switch to a one year programme in your school 1 Like |

kciano: 1. Hi vicarsenal, I got admission to Seneca college for September 2015. Is it compulsory I pay my tuition before I apply for visa? Will VAC officer frown at my visa app if I don't pay cos I actually don't want to pay my tuition until I get the visa. 2. I really would like to know if it's possible to raise money for Msc (1yr). I have enough money for my PG program, tuition, accom., and upkeep. The Msc program fee is 18,000+ CAD. Can I work while doing the PG program to raise such amount in 1yr? So what do u think? |
