Otomats don't expire short-time like you imagine, they are expensive high grade missiles with very long life. Some missiles last 45 years. Saudi Arabia too still uses their Otomat mounted on ships, they have not been test firing because they don't have to.

The Oliphant uses advanced composite armour.

If ERA is so great why don't western armies use it on there mbts.

You do know ERA is used for HEAT warheads. Though tanddem HEAT warheads bypass the effect. Of course the Oliphant does not use HEAT for anti armour so ERA is of zero advantege.
