brownlord: The same group of corrupt thieves who looted the country's treasury are the same goons pointing fingers and the sad thing is,nigerians are buying it. Imagine tinubu, obj, atiku, ameachi and the parade of disgruntled thieves screaming about corruption. Are nigerians this gullible? I'm glad the scales are beginning to fall off and more and more nigerians are seeing the APC for what they truly are. Bunch of old aggrieved power hungry thieves desperate to seize power. 37 Likes 3 Shares |

aryzgreat: Yea, maybe they beginning to see the light. As in that buhari is unelectable. Only a blind man will support a candidate who some of party leaders referred to as unelectable and not capable of ruling the country in previous election. El rufai, OBJ Only a fanatics will allow a one time chairman and national leader of a corrupt party and a president with his vice having the most corrupt administration join you chanting CHANGE Only a demented brain, will shout change because Obj said Jonathan is corrupt because the man denied him ministerial appointment for his cronies and refuse to be a puppet, perhaps if jonathan had agreed to drop sambo for lamido baba would sing a new song. Lol, APC a party without clear vision and principles 25 Likes 2 Shares |

Mynd44: I think it is incumbent on we all to educate and enlighten ourselves before we come forth to public fora to give wrong information. 1) your body movement talk? There was a last minute discussion between then ACN and CPC to go into the 2011 election in a coalition but time constraints and INEC guideline prevented the merger of sort. BUHARI was to run on his CPC ticket but drop pastor Tunde Bakare as running mate while ACN produce the running mate. The coalition talk reached advanced stage with Ribadu compelled to step down and he voluntarily did don't know where your story of sell out came from! Buhari later reneged on the drop Tunde Bakare deal based on his feelings that he had done a lot to convinced him to take the ticket and the influence of some forces he didnt like associating with telling him what to do made him decide to forgo the coalition. The ACN was in limbo and Ribadu wasn't convinced any more to run hence the ACN had technically withdrew from the race. So that rumour of sell out was figment of imagination of some lousy journalists. Ribadu himself said as much in an interview in 2012. ACN had no agent or monitor at the poll for the presidential election in virtually all states of the federation aside Osun where aregbesola still wanted to show his displeasure to.the last minute withdrawal of Ribadu. 2) APC putting up candidates you don't like? The Presidential nomination form of the APC was open and sold to anyone who wished to enter the race to contest. It is stupidity and lazy thinking to accuse the party of picking its candidate from a particular lot when everybody had a chance to buy the form. It is not APC's fault that Obama and Cameron didn't buy the form, even you had an opportunity to buy the form and contest if you wanted to. The party didn't do like PDP who printed just one presidential nomination form. The process of candidate selection was open from.sale of forms to presidential primaries. Let use our brains here and stop all these lousy talk. 3) it is a dull reasoning to accuse the party of insecurity when it does not control any arm of the security forces. If what Amaechi said is treasonable to you, then utterances of Doyin okupe, asari Dokubo, Tompolo, ateke Tom, ayodele fayose should made them.be at bar beach now facing firing squad. Be objective and commonsensical in your write up. Amaechi said what ever reasonable opposition would say, when Laurent Gbogbo rigged the CIV election to favour himself amd declared himself winner in an election that every observer knew he lost, if Alhassan Quattara remained mute and docile then I'm sure he would be in prison right now or dead like they killed MKO Abiola for daring to seek a mandate of an election the whole world knew he won.fair and square. The foremost duty of every responsible government is the security of lives and properties of its citizenry and when such government failed in its duties then.it has no moral justification to remain in power. Why not tell Buhari and Tinubu to lead an expedition to sambisa Forrest to liberate the chibok girls so as to prove to you they are concerned about the insecurity in.Nigeria. 4) political prostitution! I guess you want a party of virgins, born again and devout Muslims, sorry if you understand the dynamics of Politics and political opposition to a ruling party then you would know that every person matters in the game of politics. Politics is about interest and a game of numbers. If anybody wishes to associate with it and is ready to abide by the tenets and manifesto of a political party then he/she should be welcomed. I'm sure you won't say PDP had same set of member since 1999, Ogunlewe, obanikoro, T.A orji, Isa Yuguda, Present governor of Kebbi all defected to.the PDP along the line so.it's political ignorance and stupidity to accuse the APC of defectors to it's folds. Go get educated and informed. 5) APC plans! The manifesto of the party has been well package and put on all media you could lay your hands on, from print, news and social media. The campaign of the party and its frequent jingles on the airwaves should educate you enough. I'm sure you're not expecting odigie-oyegun to come to your house to educate you personally. Shalom and hoping I've freed you from certain misconception and ignorance. 69 Likes 14 Shares |

Mynd44: First of all, the APC has never contested a Presidential election before now, the party you speak about is the ACN, which merged with other parites like the CPC and ANPP among others, to form the APC in February 2013. That said, it is acknowledged that the principal officers of the ACN at the time are the current promoters of the APC. However the decision regarding Ribadu was actually a strategic one. After a thorough assessment of their candidate's chances, it was agreed that Ribadu would not be able to match either President Goodluck Jonathan or ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In the North, it was doubtful if Ribadu would be able to pull support that can match Atiku for instance or get the level of acceptance that Buhari currently enjoys. In addition, the plan by the party to go into an alliance with other parties who were coming with presidential aspirants seen as having wider acceptability than Ribadu, also informed this decision. Mynd44: The APC was formed as a result of the absence of a formidable opposition party which could effectively check the excesses of the ruling party on one hand, and attempt to wrestle power from it on the other. Since politics is a game of numbers, it is politically expedient to present candidates that have enough voter support to achieve one of the fundamental aims of the party which is to wrestle power from a humongous party such as the PDP (that has in fact boasted of retaining the presidency for 60 years) which has ruled for 16 years of our national existence, the entire 4th republic. General Buhari, while possessing the qualities to deliver Nigeria from its quagmire of corruption and insecurity among others, possesses the followership and acceptability to ensure that the party achieves one of its fundamental aims. The most important thing is the manifesto of the party (http://apc.com.ng/index.php/about-apc/apc-manifesto) which will be religiously adhered to by whichever candidate that runs on the party's ticket. Mynd44: You will agree with me that the instrumentality for fighting the insurgency lies with our Armed Forces, which are commanded and controlled by the C-in-C (President Jonathan) and the Military authorities, also appointed and administered by the President. Therefore i'm at a loss as to what you expect from the APC. What you term as criticism, is actually what keeps the ruling party on its toes as loopholes are identified and pointed out, albeit in a castigating manner, underlining its role as an opposition party. The same obtains in more matured democracies like the U.S, where the democrats relentlessly criticised President Bush for his war in Iraq. With regard to unguarded statements, while mot are outbursts of emotion which could be excused, none can be worse than that of the PDP's Lawal Kaita who pledged that the country would be made ungovernable. Mynd44: Again I re-iterate that members and candidates of the APC are guided by the manifesto of the party. Whatever shenanigans they were up to in the PDP occurs only because the party and the system tolerates it. When last have you heard of any PDP manifesto? Guiding principle? Ideology? None. It is therefore not surprising that all kinds of nonsense is allowed to fester there. Members of the APC are forced to imbibe the discipline inherent in the party and adopt its progressive ideology, and the party's internal democratic principles (as was evident during the primaries) as internal control measures ensure that members are consistently kept in line. Mynd44: As a change Agent, APC intend to cleanse our closet to halt the dangerous drift of Nigeria to a failed state; with a conscious plan for post-oil-economy in Nigeria. To achieve this laudable programme APC government shall restructure the country, devolve power to the units, with the best practices of federalism and eliminate unintended paralysis of the center. In sum, we subscribe to and shall preserve the fundamental objectives and directive principles of state policy as enshrined in chapter two of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as amended, and without any intention to abandon any ideal which will guarantee the corporate welfare and security of our people. We specifically offer these 7 (seven) cardinal programmes:- (WBA-IFD) to the Nigeria populace. War Against Corruption Food Security Accelerated Power Supply Integrated Transport Network Free Education Devolution of Power Accelerated Economic Growth Affordable Health Care More This Is Why You Should Vote The APC. 52 Likes 12 Shares |

Will you compare an Oshiomole with Igbinedion? Ajimobi with Akala? Amosun with Gbenga Daniel? Heck! You wanna comapare a Fayemi with Fayose? Nigeria is currently enjoying democracy at its best this period, IF THERE WAS NO STRONG OPPOSING POLITICAL PARTY (APC), I CAN BET MY LIFE WITH IT... PDP/GEJ GOVERNMENT WOULD BE WORSE THAN THIS. Pdp has been showing high lack of VISION over the Years especially in South West, Nigeria. COMPARE Ogun under gbenga Daniel (PDP) to Amosun (APC) Oyo under Alao Akala (PDP) to Ajimobi (APC) Osun under Oyinlola (PDP) to Aregbesola (APC). I think they lack(ed) manifesto/leadership, cos they were so relaxed.. 9 Likes |

Gradually the 'Sai Buhari' minions are beginning to ask the right question? Let me ask them more: This is campaign season, we have heard severally from the APC VP candidate, whose office and effectiveness is what the president desired it to be - mostly figure head! What have you heard personally from the one contesting for Presidency? What economic policy has he taken his time to espoused? Or you forget that the man who doesn't promise anything cannot be held accountable? Flash back to the Yar Adua era. Shortly after Yar Adua won election what did he do? Within a year he's cut off completely from Obj, form his kitchen cabinet and began a systematic reversal of Obj's policiesm, reforms, and programs. What is to say Buhari will not do same? - Will Buhari continue with rail expansion, linking the state capitals as planned by GEJ? - Will he continue to maintain federal road as done by GEJ? - NEPA has been unbundled, sold and fund made available to investors to expand generation. Does Buhari support this of has other plans? - What will be the fate of Second Niger bridge and Lagos-Ibadan express way? - How will he tackle Boko Haram and potentially militancy in the Delta? - Will Buhari maintain Nigeria position of not signing EPA in it's present form? - Will he carry on with the Osibanjo's idea of reducing tariff on imported vehicle therefore reversing the gain of Auto policy? Or he has other idea? - What will be the fate of Agric reform, vigorously placed in high pedestal by GEJ regime through the Agric Minister? - IPPIS is the payment platform responsible for eliminating ghost workers from the federal ministries, what is going to become of it? - How about the just concluded national conference? Will Buhari work for its implementation? Or would there be another conference? - Even if he intends to fight corruption, how will he go about it? - Are you not worried that Buhari certificate problem has not been transparently dealt with? - And how about FOI, will he push state to adopt it? How? Sadly Buhari is not talking, he's not saying what he would do! I sense he doesn't have full grasps of the issues he's coming to tackle! Yet his mindless minions are just shouting 'Sai Buhari' all over the places, while his handlers are shielding him hard questions and debate! Those APC fans bold enough to asked the right questions are being hounded, as the Op will soon realize! GEJ has been less than stellar, but history shows us that Buhari is no better, he's actually worse! Be wary, less you jump from warm water in fire! Again those who reject gentle approach should read:
Fortunately, it shall not be, because Buhari will lose again! 31 Likes 5 Shares |
