Pls my ogas in the house...I want to inquire whether there is any recommended format to put ur cv for Msc application?....somebody should please help me with a sample of cv he or she used to secure admission. Thanks for anticipated assistance!!

Some schools CV format is required in tabular for, while others is not. Check the homepage of your course to know their cv format. Its likely you even find a template there

From accounting to IT in Germany? That magic is only workable in the UK where one can switch from Yoruba science to Rocket science. He could do this though, something management related since his PGD is in management and his Bsc accounting. However, since he doesn't mind another PGD, let him apply for a Bsc again in a related field. I'm assuming that I don't know how good his PGD is in this case.
If his PGD were ready, he could send mails to the programme coordinators of the programmes he is interested in (Management programmes) and see what the response will be.
Note: A 2.2 is 3.1 by the way in Germany. And in Germany, the lower the figure, the better, on the scale of 1-5.

When i mean 2.2, i meant third class and not second class lower division. Do you mean having 2.2 is equivalent to 3.1 in Germany which can make him get admission.

I understood you clearly. 2.2 GP is about 3.1 and its not a good omen because 80% of the school will require a GP of at least 2.5 and remember the rules, the lower in figure the better. In some cases, 3.0 can be accepted by few but in that case you sometimes need to back it up with work experienc, GMAT or GRE.

I also applied to ulm for msc finance.I have two kids(3months old and 2 yrs old).I am looking at the possibility of getting a visa for three of us.I will using sponsorship letter from my cousin.pls wat is the possibility of getting the visa.I am also applying to saarland for msc bioinformatics.

How do you want to get a visa for the three of you with a sponsorship letter? Haba mana...You alone would still be in consideration. And besides, Msc in Finance in Ulm no be beans if you come add am kids and you have to work to take care of your bills, insurance etc...How on God's earth do you plan to survive because obviously your cousin is not going to be earning and be spending on you. Please drop the idea...It's either you alone with the sponsorship letter or you with the kids then you have to show the funds that you can take care of them. All the best...

I sent them a copy of the statement that was sent last year but they said they needed one that is not more than a month old. That is, a new one. I have tried contacting the bank via the form on their website for international students and block account but they are yet to get back to me so I was wondering if anybody had a similar challenge in the past and could offer a more better solution like a direct email that they check quite often so as to get a swift response.

Thanks

...They just want to confirm that you haven't taken your money back. Usually deutsch bank don't reply emails requesting the details of the account once they had sent it to you before. I don't know why the embassy don't know about this but a friend of mine had to call them and even at that they didn't send him the details. So I will advice you call them and if they don't send it, go to the embassy and lay your complains and I think they will then contact them on your behalf. I have forgotten how my friend resolved that problem....

Good evening wonderful people. Been a while and hope y'all enjoyed your valentine wink wink

Anyone here undergoing a Masters program in Universitaet Bonn? I have a serious issue here. The application is online and they insist the transcript must be converted to the ECTS system or my application will be rejected, which my frustratingly useless school said is impossible sad. I don't know if anyone here can help with any (official) document from anywhere explaining the credit system in Nigeria.

Also, my HOD from the same frustratingly useless school has blatantly told me he is not giving me any letter stating the language of instruction (an alternative to the language tests). Does anyone know any walk-around to this (excluding taking the TOEFL and IELTS tests)?
Please I need your urgent replies as deadlines are approaching.

Thanks.

The registrar of your university has an authority to write the letter too...try go to your admin block and get it from them. It will serve as well...

I have no plans on insulting you, bro. If you read my initial comment, you'd see the nature of my comment. It was posted with no intention of insulting anyone. All I did was share an idea that most people I'm sure are unaware of but reach their schools and find out their course has got this and that. By the way, I do not know whether Eke40Seven(not that is a bad idea) is being praised for an info he has given in the past or whether he is a German student but I can tell he doesn't currently study in Germany and yes, what I've stated earlier about accreditation is from what I've seen others experience.

And thank you for commenting, I hope I've not mislead you in any ways. If I have, I apologize for that

Hi Guys, sorry for the long leave of absence. TUM is a freaking demanding school and they really mean business. While i am gone, i can see people have started giving misleading information to others. Please be careful esp. @ DanIndia. Stop this nonsense about accreditation and non accreditation with Uni-assist or not. It is wrong and if you give one more wrong info here, you will be reported and banned. I am currently in TUM and i DID NOT apply through uni_assist, so tell me my course is not accredited. Be very careful ooo. Someone sent a mail to me, crown or something is the user name. Can you please ask your question on the forum? I wasn't able to look at it because of my exams but now i am a bit free and will help anyway i can.
To all the other guys helping out here, keep up the good work and God will bless your endevours

What happens when you dont pass die aufnahmenprüfung?do you have to go back home?how xan you extend your 3 months visa?
styles2009:

I took my SSCE result and Goethe zertifikat deutsch, went to the Italian embassy here in Italy, made copies of it and it was certified for free.
I searched for Studienkollegs, see if they are under uni assist or not and applied.
Weeks later, got an invitation to write the entrance exam and passed the exam.
To all, you can do a Bsc undergraduate program in Germany with SSCE but you must attend studienkolleg and do a final exam after 2 semester before starting the Uni or polytechnic, language of teaching is 100% German.

EBELE,

Do you think NairaLand is a diner where the attendant says, it's time for you to go home and you crawl out like some sick puppy? Dudette, I'm surprised you're studying in Germany and still do not understand the initial comment.
This matter was buried long ago, why are you trying to dig into what's been long forgotten? You attend TUM, fine, I did not ask you to disclose where you study (this is the internet).

And for crying out loud, did you even read my initial post? How hard is it to understand what 70% and the word "chance" means!? I have seen some other girl posted the other day (I decided not to say a word because someone else responded to her), after I decided not to argue any further but this your comment makes no sense at all.

FYI, in a forum, people don't get banned/reported because of what they share; they only get banned if they violate the rules. Read the 1-21 rules of Nairaland. "70%" and a "chance" doesn't mean FOR SURE it is guaranteed. It means there is another 30% PROBABILITY that it may be the opposite. The only way you can prove me wrong is if you make that a 100%.

CHAI, which language make I use take comment again because English nor gree me explain again.

And stop sounding like an OP with your "while I am gone" biz.

And if things continue this way, this thread may be dead in no time. I only pity those who are seriously in need of accurate information about studying in Germany.

Have gained alot from this thread and it saddens my heart to see what this thread is degenerating to.

Even if it's a faceless forum in quote, can we atleast be polite, humble, tolerant and civil in our relations with one another.

Would love to see more testimonies on this thread and not abuses and insults.

Cheers.

Hello guys,i am new on here .i would love to ask ypu some questions @Junipero .how were you able to extend your 3 month visa after you failed the first entrance exam

Junipero:

Before I answer, i have one question. Do you live in Portharcourt or Asaba?
1. You have to be precise ooo. I wrote a few. Trust me, they were all unique.
2. No, I most absolutely did not pass the 1st Aufnahmetest I wrote. I chose one of the toughest Studienkollegs and had to pay for it.
3. The aufnahmetest is just what it is. An entrance test. Do not let the multitude of Moroccan, Indonesian and Arab rivals faze you. Else you go fail ooo. For the 2nd part of the question I'd say "If u wanna know what the club's like, you really gotta get in". It's fun though if that's what you want to hear. cheesy
4. I travelled to Germany exactly 12months 15 days ago.
5. Wrote the Aufnahmetest 12months 1 day ago.
6. My current Studienkolleg belongs to the Uni Kassel.
7. Repeat answer 4.

We could communicate durch Whatsapp if you don't mind. I'm not always here on Nairaland. Except it's to see GMB Vs GEJ threads grin

Eke, how far na?
Abeg no dey ban people oo abeg. Make we help ourselves. When i was doing my application, this thread was very helpful and if you post wrong info and was corrected, you take the correction like a man and not abuse the person giving the correction. That is how we all learn. As for blocking my posts, its really funny but i never right use to give info before, now i am even discouraged the more. Nothing much sha. It wasn't my intention to exchange words with anybody.
Eke cant wait for when you come here.
Good luck to everyone with their endevours.
