Sorry...but this is a dumb move. Promotions?....military personnel are given medals for such....Medal of Valour or whatever. If he found it fit to add some monetary bonus fine...but promotions? And what about the soldiers before who liberated other places?....and the ones who would in the future? Boost morale in the short run yes.... because soldiers would go all out on the next mission with the hope of getting promotions in the end..... what happens to morale if they don't? It is dumb to not look before you leap.

I agree with you that this is a short time fix but the way you presented your fact would not make people take your recommendation, you sound so antagonistic. NA is doing well and also the aliance with our neughbours have been wonderful and i give kudos to this government for pushing this agenda of our neighbours supporting this fight.
