I don't get, why is it that Nigeria is moving forward around Gej but in reality, we are actually going backward. I was expecting inprovement in power supply after all the commissioning of new power plants but now the normal 4hrs per day in my area had been reduced to less than 40minutes in 3days. Can we say APC is also responsible? Or what? If you have noticed any positive changes about power supply in your area recently please share here

Please it helps if you state what area that is.

People may be able to corroborate your claims without appearing to be biased.

All I know is that there is a black-out and we have a governement so what is happening that they can't secure pipelines. Why must you always shift blame. The government is answerable to the people

The current power plants are complaining of poor gas supply and yet more generating plants are being commissioned some without pipes to supply the gas they need to operate. So there is likely to be little improvement in the power supply for some time yet. Sorry.

As for the prior comment about not knowing ministers names, can the citizens be blamed when hardly any of them have distinguished themselves in any way that the public may notice, unless we are talking about their notoriety.

Re-commissioning an existing power plant, electricity is worse in my area now, buisness is suffering yet one Arrow will come here bandying some useless statistics for me. All this after 5 years as president, yet he wants to continue another four years.

You are asking NERC to secure gas piplines, interesting.

Anyway that is the ongoing development........

But in all parts of the world communities are responsible for all pipelines routed through the community.

So who is shifting blame now since it is obvious nobody can "siphon" gas like other liquid products.

My solution is community vigilante (PPMC approach) and shoot at sight for any saboteurs ( jungle justice approach which you can trust Nigerians will also adopt) at the end it is a win-win situation for the law abiding citizens.

What exactly do you want this government to be responsible for? We provide our own water digging well, generator for power, security building fence and bulglary and you expect us to come and also secure pipelines for govt while they feed fat on our money?

Never for once has GEJ taken responsibility for his ineptitude.

We are waiting for the TANoids to explain to us "as usual" how Buhari, Obasanjo & Tinubu are responsible for the vandalism of gas pipelines around the Country - Senseless Animals.

Don't run.

Stay and debate like you mean it. So far, this thread has been civil. No name calling or insults yet, so its surprising that you are throwing in the towel so early.

The poster you quoted is expressing his frustration with power supply - a deep frustration shared by millions of Nigerians. You can't type a few lines in defence of the government and then cut and run when challenged. angry

Stay and fight like an honest man. But keep it civil.

It is not a fight.

It is not even a debate.

It is a conversation.

It is a conversation where both parties may learn.

I told him the current situation /challenges and even the worries of the Minister who had to engage NANS in a bid to stop the senseless saboteurs because we all know this kind of vandalism is probably done by people with an idea of basic or physical sciences.

I told him what is obtainable all over the world as regards pipeline routing.

I also told him his last statement gave him away. .......

Me leaving means I totally don't see the need to further engage him in any converstion and the onus falls on him to disprove (with facts of course), accept or unaccept my information but not continue in ignorance.

The problem now is a forum with such threads is meant to clarify not jump to conclusions on subject matters one knows nothing about.......do you understand the statement of "giving away now".

Ciao!
