Infants learn almost 300words everyday. Do you think they just pronounce daddy or mummy instantaneously? A week old baby can recognize his or her mother's voice from a two lettered words recording. Play it and the child knows. In fact they remember songs frequently played when they are still in your belly. Hence, whatever you do in their presence, THEY WILL REMEMBER. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Maximus85: They will remember it as what? sex? I guess they knew what sex was right from the womb. Listen kids evolve through repetition and constantly being told about what they are doing. Why dont you try teaching your 6 month old kid to pronounce your name .... they cannot simply because their mental configuration isnt equipped for that yet. The moment a child is born does not mean the brain is now fully functional. The brain is still going through its formative process hence their limitations otherwise a day old baby would be walking about immediately but because their assimilation process is not 100% yet they are deficient so early in their lives. Please lets stop bashing this issue. Let the newly weds go about their biz. Sex is a very important aspect of marriage and its very important for the babys happiness as well because if parents are happy so is the baby. In fact a home where the husband and wife are totally comfortable and into one another is the best environment to raise a kid. 3 Likes |

Op,your baby might not b able to talk, but his brain is working and assimilating what the eyes see, the expression on your face alone reads a lot of meaning to the baby, to cut it short, it's not morally right...dnt do it in the presence of your baby. |

missjenna: Well spoken.Op got everything wrong.I do remember faintly some of the things that happened to me when I was crawling.Don't know why some of the pics do flash my mind. Op should try to note that most creatures made by God do have different conscious mind. This little kid can have the true pics stored in his mind and when he starts knowing things, the child will then start having flash backs that mummy and daddy use to act this way and that child might end up start having feelings at an early stage of his or her life when he /she understands what se--x is all about. |

For your know, I still remember all the silly (underlined) things (kissing, petting, touching) that my older siblings did when I was less than a year old. Point blank: if the kid doesn't understand what you doing today they would make a head out of it tomorrow and you guess where that head heads to. . . |

blymy: Listen my sister, you did right, but never think they cannot pick one or two things from there.Do that in a separate room when the baby is as sleep. Some Children are different and can easily start picking things up their subconscious mind and as they grow, they start putting things together. Have you seen some kids ask their parents or some adults some questions that can throw the adult back and they start wondering why such question from a child at that age. God created us with different developmental processes. Some are early learners and anything you say, they pick up immediately. 3 Likes |

Exactly! We both knew its a big minus 4 us witout saying a word to ourselves abt it. My baby is such a fast learner, no word passes her by, she must repeat d last word said nd jst 3days ago I wz marveled wen a neighbor said bye to her nd my baby started waving her hand rhythmically lyk she's bin doin it 4 quite somtym, even d neighbor wz surprised as well dat she askd me who taught her nd I tld her I'm surprised as well bcz av neva seen her do dat b4. |

wandyvirus:I felt the contempt of having a six month old watch while parents have sex. That thing has been going on for a long time, and the silly Op doesn't know it's wrong. She was even too shameless to say it in the open! For crying out loud, that's someone's wife, unless she fabricated the story! I hate parents who expose kids to a world bigger than their imagination. Kids are copyists, you'd make a fool out of urself thinking they don't know coz they know! Words in bold: I have same prayers for u too, bro |

Well I can tell you that I was mounting on girls before I became conscious of it. I got so notorious in my neighbourhood for gluing myself to girls from a time I cannot recollect. After thinking hard about where this originated I remembered flashes of laughing and giggling seeing my mum and dad in bed doing nothing but they were wondering why I was so excited at seeing them in bed. I have since concluded that I must have watched them having sex several over I took it casually gluing myself to female neighbours after pulling their pants down. Of course there was no penetration. But obviously the impact on my psyche was disastrous. .. |

50calibre: I disagree with you partially. Scientifically, even babies in the uterus respond to music and voice. At 6 months of age, the baby certainly would not comprehend anything, but such images could be stored in the child's subconscious mind. It could very well act as a trigger in adulthood. Sigmund freud did alot of research on this, maybe she should read about him. 1 Like |

naijadeyhia: Just listen to yourself, what do you want them have as the foundation of their mentality. Normal people are introduced to sex at certain stage of their lives not from infancy. Instead of your babies watching educative cartoons like Bonnie, telly tubbies, rug rats and the likes, why not show them sex movies instead? I'm done with you. This society is dead. |

The baby subconsciously understood nothing, you people should stop all this voodooist jargon. Op, if you have common sense, you wouldn't have opened this thread, and yes I noticed the double entendre again. Choose one: are you worried about the baby watching you have sex ( in your mind), or the baby seeing you walking around the house in your birthday suit. How does that even make sense? And for goodness sake, why why why why are you asking nlers what to do about your baby seeing you walking n.aked in your house? Do you need to be told to wear clothes if you think your baby is watching your nu.dity? Nibo ni won ti ngbe enyin enyan yi wa gaan? |
