Buhari Plans To Jail Former Heads Of States by Idokojimmy: 5:18am On Feb 27, 2015 |
While making his presentation in faraway UK, Pa Buhari said "But I must emphasize that any war waged on corruption should not be misconstrued as settling old scores or a witch-hunt. I'm running for President to lead Nigeria to prosperity and not adversity" Only logical minds can deduce that this man has classified some people as corrupt already even without investigation. Secondly, that these allegedly corrupt persons may have had fracas or stood on his way before Thirdly, that when he starts dealing with them, the world must not think that he's settling old scores. Once a Dictator, Always a.... 3 Likes |

olaboy001: And you think I won't be happy to see corrupt people thrown in jails after being thoroughly prosecuted? That's what all well meaning Nigerians want. I just highlighted the FACT that Buhari CANNOT throw ANYONE into the jail. This is democracy. It's the law courts that do that. Besides, I'm a fulfilled professional doing my best for both nation and family. 1 Like |

Baseless at best. Buhari has promised not to witch-hunt anyone. Also the draw a line on anti-corruption tolerance (that is in his time it will not be business as usual). Also the set motion in place to fight corruption (laws, review the Penal Code, de-centralize the police, special courts, etc). PDP agents should stop their Politics of Fear against Buhari. This is Democracy. 2 Likes |

In a democracy? I would like to see that happen... Nigga, is on 50 shades of weed. But anyways, the past is meant to be learnt from not revisited..no time for petty rivalry, push us to glory so we can forever praise God as a nation. Vote GEJ 2 Likes 1 Share |

The only thing i know most of the top politicians are using against Buhari is that he will jail them. I keep wondering why these top politicians will think Buhari will jail them and he wont jail ULSHERLAN. The answer is they know they are corrupt on a large scale. They hardly say he wont develop the country, they all talk about or get scared of being jailed. If you are truly clean then you have nothing to worry about. Why is the average Nigerian not scared? |

D problem isn't jailing corrupt officials, but wrongfully assuming that people are guilty in a democratic setting without investigation or diligent probe. For Pa to say when he starts, it shouldn't be seen as witch hunting, it means those he is targeting may have offended him in the past. My guess if u ask me include: IBB, OBJ, Abdulsalam, Gej among others 1 Like |
